I feel like Pearl is going after players that he's hoping doesn't ask for much NIL money. His hands are tied due to NIL funds and that's a shame. He has taken Auburn basketball to new heights and should be given ALL resources needed to recruit at the highest level. I hate to keep saying it, but I can see him leaving Auburn for Indiana if that job opens and he's offered. I would think they will give him everything he needs when it comes to NIL and resources becausethey are desperate to win. I hope I am wrong. Auburn needs to step it up. Football has been terrible the last 5 seasons, but they receive the most NIL funds. What about basketball?

We must sign him! I love BP as a coach but this seniority or loyalty to players on the roster by bringing in back ups only is about to get us left behind. We need firepower at the PF spot and we need another good point guard. The SEC will be loaded next season. Shame on Auburn for not giving BP all the resources he needs to bring home a NC and sign the best players. Our arch is lightning the recruiting trail up while we are settling and trying to do more with less.

I feel like Bruce is upfront with recruits when they visit. Some other coaches tell you what you want to hear to sign you. I expect a lot of transfers out of Alabama next season. Kids are coming out of high school with big egos and rarely told no. They want to start immediately and the outside noise gets in their ears having them thinking they are the next big thing. I like the players Auburn sign that play with a chip on their shoulders because they feel overlooked.

We need him. He's not afraid of contact and plays with confidence.

Maybe Auburn doesn't have the amount of NIL money for basketball as Alabama. It could also be BP only takes the players he believes fits his system. You must play defense to play for Pearl and I don't think he puts up with players that have big egos or may be a cancer to the locker room. I remember the rumor that he rejected the offer to Zion Cruz because of his attitude when he came to visit.

I can bet there will be a lot of transfers out of Alabama after next season. There's only so many minutes that can disbursed among that many players and who will check their ego for the sake of the team. I still think Auburn can compete with them with the addition of another PG and PF.

Playing just over 15 minutes per game last season for the Tigers, Godfrey averaged 6.1 points and 3.4 rebounds per game while shooting 59.4 percent from the floor and 62.7 percent from the free throw line. Alabama has gotten the big head since they made the Final Four. It is going to be hard trying to pull in all those egos and keep everybody happy with playing time. I don't see Philon going to Alabama. They are stacked at the guard positions.

Probably because Kansas recruited over him. High profile players do not sign to come sit on the bench and high five. I hope he returns back to Auburn.
