I’ll be honest and say I checked out on a lot regarding Auburn football off -seasons in the final years of Gus. Stopped following spring practice, A-Day, fall camps, recruiting etc. because it always seemed same old same ol. So anyway, my first tip off this could be uglier than some thought was a quote from the offensive line coach early in camp I believe. I don’t remember it verbatim but it was a less than glowing/optimistic review from their own coach… Tough days on the plains…

I blame both. It was an issue under Gus. Probably THE issue that kept Gus from being more successful offensively. But your point is valid on Harsin. With the portal it’s mind boggling we didn’t shore up that glaring weakness.

Yeah I don’t care what Bo does. I was in JHS today cheering for MY team regardless of the situation. Honestly couldn’t have told you who Oregon was playing today if others hadn’t mentioned it on here. I don’t see a whole lot of folks(if any) on here defending Harsin tonight so don’t know why he feels the need to harp on the Bo thing. Needs to feed the old ego that he was right about something? I guess? Anyway, Auburn does need some change but hiring another wrong guy won’t help so I have no idea where we go from here.

I haven’t been on the board long but that guy seems like he can’t let goof Bo or Gus and along with a couple others on here is actively hoping for exactly what happened today so he can be right. And if he follows his typical MO he will respond to you and possibly this with some BS response.

Respectfully, when is Auburn going to make that hire? I’ve been an Auburn fan since about’85 and we’ve never hired the proven winner or program builder. Folks keep saying we can but it’s been about 35 years now and 🤷‍♂️.

Roger that. Experience on other pages taught me not to get into it with that lot. Brick wall and all that. Last night sucked but we did win and I’m going to JHS for the first time in 5 years next Saturday and looking forward to it regardless!

I wasn’t there but just from the tv the place seemed dead early on. Low energy. I know it was SJSU but the crowd needs to be there regardless to amp up the team. But maybe it was just the tv broadcast because it seemed a little low quality. 🤷‍♂️

Ah ok. I haven’t been on here long but if this board was like other Auburn pages I browsed it was civil war in Gus’s last few seasons. I wanted Gus to succeed obviously but writing was on the wall for awhile .
