If the OL can once again block well and we don't turn the ball over we will win, maybe by a lot. I am sure that we will try and run the ball about 75% of the time tomorrow.

Wow. We ran the ball 86% of the time on first down. Looks like we are just executing better.

This will be the #1 thing I will watch for this weekend... how we do against an another SEC team in the redzone. I want to see if we are truly going to change things or are we simply going to try execute the same plays better. Hopefully we have a lot of chances and a lot of success!

Well I agree that he should be on the field. He is a playmaker with speed that nobody else on the field can match. I like the idea, and I also think he would be good on the speed sweep, even as a decoy. Put him in the game more often so people do not see it coming when he does get the ball.

IMO there is not a QB on this roster, other than maybe the freshman, than will successfully run the type of offense Gus wants to run. All of the QBs have their flaws. SW is not a great QB at the moment but he seems to be be tough, plays hard, and the moment does not seem to be too big for him. he reminds me of an early version of Ben Leard. Honestly i would like to see what any of these QBs can do in a different offense, one not predicated on the read option and then "throw it deep" mentality. I think all of them would have better stats.

I have been saying the same thing!!!!!!! His refusal to go back to the AU offense of 2008, or the Tulsa offense... it is like 2010 and 2013 worked so well that Gus just snapped. He will not conform to the QB's strengths anymore. It just seems he is now stuck with this "running offense" and will run it no matter who is at QB. Bizarre.

According to a few people at the scrimmage that were giving updates on other boards, our qbs were terrible. SW did not play well and had multiple turnovers. JF3 did a little better. Kam looked good. There was also some play calling concerns posted. Maybe au23 can elaborate on that because they said we ran the same stuff as last year with no success. Gus is in a tough spot. We are in a tough spot. Hope our D is elite this year.

Add this year's OL with last years DL and we are building a championship team.
