This is one of my favorite games to have attended. Bobby Bowden ran the “Fumblerooskie” and big Walter Tate came up with the ball. Ricky Sutton sacked the FSU QB for about a 20 yard loss. My seats were in the upper deck above the FSU fans and band. Was so sick of that chant by the end of the game. If I remember correctly this was right after FSU decided to go to the ACC instead of joining the SEC.

What a night that must have been for Bo and Patrick. To win your 2nd straight state championship, and do it on the field you will play the next 4 years. The field that your dad played and had one of the most memorable plays in Auburn’s history. Almost like it was meant to be. War Eagle Bo!!!

Hopefully this # 3 will be as good as previous players with this number. i.e. Al Del Greco and Kevin Porter. I'm sure there are others that I am missing.

Finally, a proven QB to go with our great wr class. I'm excited for next year. Should be very fun to watch.

I was at the game with about 10 of my Auburn friends. I really enjoyed the game. Had not seen Auburn vs UAB since the 80's at the BJCC. Auburn had a large amount of fans at the game too. I do not have a great basketball IQ, but it looked to me like in the first half we were all about shooting 3's. 2nd half we were taking more shots under the basket.
