  1. It's unbelievable hearing crying on an Auburn board for an undefeated team with the #55 schedule strength not getting in the top 4. That's undefeated Western Michigan, UCF and Utah crybaby territory. 2004 Auburn went undefeated beating FIVE (5) top 10 teams then crushed our SEC title game opponent and didnt get a chance to play for the natl title. Cry me a river, criminoles. Research 1969 penn state, 1966 bama, etc etc etc. Been happening to undefeated top tier teams for over 150 years.

  2. Having lived in Tallahassee since '95, it's hard for not to have schadenfreude re FSUs snub. When we got screwed in '04 the local rag & FSU fans in general mocked Auburn mercilessly. To recap '04, Auburn went undefeated (in the SEC, not ACC) while beating FIVE (5) top 10 teams and crushing our SEC title game opponent, only to not get even a chance to play for the national title. Okie joke got to play USC and was obliterated. IMO FSU are amateurs at getting jobbed.

  3. Grayson McCall is just as much a prototypical Freeze QB as he was last Spring when his grades/curriculum wouldn't transfer to Auburn or UF (both didnt hide desperately wanting him). The Dukey QB attraction is mutual too.

Fwiw, Geriner still has almost NO game data and Freeze's opinion of him last practice was outstanding but green. McCall is Geriner with experience - perfect mentor to bring him & white along.

Get a grip, he didnt even know who was in there returning the punt. He thought the 2 man rush was a great call...what more can you say, that pretty much sums it up especially the 2 man rush.

I'm glad he can recruit since hopefully we will have better players for the next coach. He may turn it around but he has shown that his in game managing of the game is not the best and I do not think that bodes well for the future, but I know wiat till next year..wash and repeat.

Who is this Bishop clown? Bammer alert.

  5. Meh, in his first Bama season Nicky lost in Tuscaloosa to Sun Belt's La-Monroe (6-6, a FAR worse team than '23 NMS) and backed into Indep Bowl for a squeeker win over arguably the worse bowl team that year (Colorado). He signed a good, not great class after that season. Sounds familiar. Next thread.

  6. Second greatest play-action QB in college history (after Jamelle Holliway).

Remember when ole Nick was arrested in his grandmother's car for possession of paraphernalia he claimed grandma already had in the car?🤣 That was pretty messed up.

The best at that I ever saw was the Alabama quarterback that grew up an Auburn fan. Tall, lanky, dark headed.

    Holloway, maybe?  Gary, maybe?

He could freeze a DB with a handoff, have the ball behind his back and then zip a 20 yard completion.

Gary "chuck & duck" Hollingsworth? Please. Okla QB jamelle holliway was the best and our 2013 squad was a close 2d IMO. Whomevers third best is a distant third.

Holden has an arm, you can tell by the way he sells those pass fakes.

Ole Robbie's 1 throw/1 int pretty well snuffed any more passes for the backups this game.

Fwiw 2013 largely happened because Auburn's play action that season was so good it could freeze the sun. Handoff nuances matters.

Hugh is all over PT every time he hits the sideline.
It looks like they may be developing a good relationship.
Or CHF is just pissed every time…

Yeah but I'm not crazy about some of Thorne's reactions and this isnt the first game. He sometimes looks outraged at whatever Hugh is telling him and sometimes even has that teenage smirk/eyeroll thing going. Just shutup son and listen to your head coach.
