Gulf Breeze Tiger 5
The following is a portion from the Oregon Beat Writer: Auburn arrived at the BCS National Championship Game on Monday night armed with the better ranking, the better band, the better colors, the better bird -- good Lord, you should have seen that War Eagle soar -- the better conference, the better traditions and the better quarterback Oregon can learn much from Auburn's tradition, composure, confidence and arrogance, Terry said. "Their fans took up two-thirds of this place because of their passion for Auburn and the SEC," Terry said. "We don't have that same kind of passion. "Yet when you lose like this to the No. 1 team in the country, with the Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback, it makes you want it even more. "Heck, there's only eight more months and we get to start all over again and hopefully do this again." I mentioned that to the Oregon friend that I watched the game with, and he said that those smokin hot cheerleaders are all out of state students. Haha. It was well written and such a heart-warming piece. I Hope the remainder of the year for you is as wonderful as it has started for us Auburn folks. Oregon has a fine team and were well deserving of being No.2 this season. They certainly played like No.2 tonight. God Bless and War Eagle! AtlantaAU 0
I avoided Oregon message boards, so I don't know about knuckle-head postings, but after reading an article not long ago about the history of Oregon football, I really do hope they win a national title one day.
