auriptide 0
I'm glad one person has the guts to report on this. http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2011/07/why_did_so_many_alabama_footba.html
dpwspringer 0
That is a very low keyed article. How do you write that piece without showing several of the photos of Richardson signing articles while in the store, especially the jerseys? He was tip toeing, trying to cover what was in the news but not to really report what went on-- he was trying to protect bama with that article. auriptide 0
It wasn't hardcore, but I think he handled it well for starters. I'll agree with you on him, if he doesn't follow up with more news on the scandal.
wdeexit310 0
Chris Lowe believes Bama will have a problem if any evidence is found about discounts for suits and the fact that Bama has not turned anything over to the NCAA>
Tiger Oak 0
That is the key. Since bama did not turn any of this over to the NCAA or SEC of it comes out that any current or former players received suits for free, heavily discounted, or in exchange for autographs then bama will get a GA Tech style beat down. kickeminthebuttbigblue 0
Chris Lowe believes Bama will have a problem if any evidence is found about discounts for suits and the fact that Bama has not turned anything over to the NCAA> Spot on. ua supposedly investigated this, and found no wrong doing. If the NCAA looks into it and finds something ua should have found, it will not be pretty. It will look like a cover up for sure. Remember, ua compliance found no wrong doing in the text book case as well after investigation.

kingofhill1 2
And Emmert is also the one we just love to quote when we tell the world that the NCAA has said repeatedly that Auburn did nothing wrong in the case of Cam Newton. I have no problem with Emmert.
