Shaquille Johnson, Jordan Granger and Ashaun Dixon-Tatum all signed today and Jordan Price will sign friday

Ladies have signed three good players as well. Both classes look real good for our roundball future.

“Asauhn Dixon-Tatum, a junior college center, is unique in that he is not your typical junior college player,” Barbee said. “He is a late bloomer who graduated high school at 6-foot-9, 190 pounds. Now after going to a Div. II school for two years, he is 7-foot, 230 pounds with a 7-foot-4 wingspan and a 36 inch vertical jump.

3 high profile HS players and a JC player who may have grown into the Big Center we have been looking for.

Does anyone know or have a guess as to where our recent b-ball signing class would rank in the SEC? Just curious as to where we are in relation to our SEC counterparts in terms of recruiting.

TIA!

Here is CTB's tweet right after signing all the new guys:

CoachTonyBarbee Tony Barbee

AU Bball recruiting class of 2012 is ranked #24 Nationally and #3 in the SEC! They are all great players but most important good young men!!

Also, here are ESPN's rankings:

http://insider.espn.go.com/ncb/recruiting/classrankings?classyear=2012&classmonth=11&action=login&appRedirect=http%3a%2f%2finsider.espn.go.com%2fncb%2frecruiting%2fclassrankings%3fclassyear%3d2012%26classmonth%3d11

looks like we just missed their top 25 (we are listed as on the cusp), and only SEC schools ahead of us are Kentucky and Florida.
