Cheat Put em in a nostalgic mood. We be really good. About to start getting prepared for tonight.........want to be in the appropriate mood. Oh man, hot cider in a slow cooker with some cinnamon. I love that smell wafting through the house. I would like to offer exhibit A your honor.............The senses affect the selling ,marketing and the purchase. It starts a couple of weeks after school lets out, goes into the summer, and dwindles a few weeks before school starts back. It is a very prosperous time, most years. Maybe not you, but put that in an antique shop, add in 50% wife accompaniment and some will turn to putty where money used to be. Every major store in America uses the entire sensory experience that they can access. You never know which one will work on which people. Go out to Polaris, enter the major dept stores. Every one has a fragrance/smell as you enter the door and it varies along with experiences depending on what department you are in. Mens dept? Leather, tabac and citrus. Happens every time. Apparently we had a hydraulic leak. We returned to a gate after sitting on the tarmac for 30 minutes. Then we sat at the gate for another 30 minutes while they troubleshot it. They told us to get off to cool off. After sitting in the terminal for anothe 30 minutes we are changing planes and have to go to the other end of the airport. Now we are leaving at 9:45EDT.
