Trial will be held tommorrow at ESPN headquarters and broadcasted nationwide during Game Day. Stoops will be defended by Chris Fowler. The prosecutions surprise witness will be Nick Saban. Trial judge will be Paul Gattis, Bama beat writer for the Huntsville Times. If convicted, Stoops will spend 10 years as special teams coach for Coach Mike Shula. AUesquire 1 Posted November 19, 2004 Share Posted November 19, 2004 Talk show host for Sporting News Radio, Rick Bellew, said last night that our boy Trev was extremely hot under the collar about the comments and looked like he was ready to strap it on. He also said(and take it for what it's worth) that even if OU beats Baylor by 80 and AU comes out on top by one, AU will replace OU at #2 because of the number of voters who now see Stoops as a major tool. And who knew he'd step up and go to bat for us this year.( That may be a little more than what's he actually done, because last year he was just as much against us....remember overrated, but he may have been right). He has been converted over to us this year. And Mark May has always seen the quality in our team. A big win tomorrow and we will start winning over enough voters that the OB may be in sight.
