rexbo 104
Very informative website on the Tsunamis, including links for various donation sights. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2004_Indian_Ocean_earthquake Also, you can donate very easily with your credit card on Amazon.com, it goes to the Red Cross. Auburn85 432
Did anyone here about the UN guy ranting about that we were "stingy" with our relief ffunds? We are donating a total of $35 million plus we are sending 700 troops. Japan is sending $30 million Canada is sendend $1 million France is sending $130,000 This guy ought to be jumping down France's throat. Plus the $35 million figure of ours will not include private donations like from the Red Cross and churches and other private donations. This UN guy tried to take back what he said, but he just proved that he just doesn't like this country. Why? I don't know. He feels we should raise our taxes that way we can help other countries more? What a joke !!
rexbo 104
Just watched the ABS Special on the disaster. They pointed out that as of right now Spain and Germany are contributing as much as the US, but not ONE word that I heard about the military support moving in to the region...
