I want to see Chris Davis get PT with a team that will value him and develop him.  The better he does, the more we will see of that play on TV.  He is young in his career.  Plenty of time.  I hope his time will come soon, though.

man i have mr davis rookie card autographed right out of the pack. they used the kick six photot and i believe i got it for about eight or so bucks including shipping. it is probably one of my favorite auburn player cards and they had three at the time and i wish i had bought all of them. auburn players are fun to collect and are usually pretty cheap if any of you folks need a hobby and want to get authentic out of the pack auto's and knowing they are real.

My son was born in 2008.  From 2008-2012 we were not able to attend a game because we didn't feel great leaving him with someone for a weekend.  Finally in 2013, we thought we could do it and we attended the Iron Bowl as our first game in five years.  Not a bad one to choose!

We sat next to a couple of Bama fans, a guy of about 35 and his dad (who was probably mid-60's) in the North end zone.  They were great to watch the game with and we had some good-natured trash talking going on all game.  We had the perfect seats to watch Chris Davis run the kick into our end-zone and I thought I was going to have to give the dad CPR.  He was white as a sheet.

I also remember sort of feeling bad for Alabama's band.  Because of all the pandemonium, they had to sit and wait for escorts to come get them.  It was at least 30 minutes while they just had to sit there watching the celebration going on around them.  They looked pretty miserable (as I would have been had the shoe been on the other foot).

Jay Jacobs had opened the AU arena for "overflow" watching, free.  We really appreciated that, already high from Thanksgiving, getting our tree from the GA Farmer's Market, etc.  Mixed seating for us, so the hype went back and forth.  I'd stood it long enough without making a "necessary room" stop, which I unfortunately-in-retrospect chose to do when Nick Saban was debating what to do with the time clock.  When I entered and exited rapidly, it was already too late.  Pandemonium central!  Perfect strangers having hallelujah church right there all over the place.  Will never forget it.  Say it's GREAT to be an Auburn Tiger!
