I dont think its that big of a deal. The kid just openly asked for hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of jewelry like it was nothing. I think Daunte was just "playing the game". He said he would get him something else...so to me thats cool.

If he'd have told the kid that it was just for the awards ceremony, no problem at all. The whole thing is weird. I feel bad for the kid, but to ask for free jewelry like that is not right.

IMHO, since the misunderstanding was imo culpeppers fault, he should make it one heckuva makeup gift. Say at least $1,000+ worth of jewelry or something. Once again, jmo.
