If a respected leader such as Kelly or Mattis resign in disgust, Trump will be in meltdown mode. Policy was formed within the inner circle of advisers. Everyone is an enemy. Absolute loyalty is demanded. It is, and will be, interesting to watch the parallels unfold. Sounds quite familiar to how Trump's predecessor ran his shop. He even went as far investigating journalist who weren't "with the program" enough to their satisfaction. Its quite clear with the way Generals were retired early and how the CIA was editing information so briefings would reflect a more positive tone that an inner circle was firmly in control of the talking points thus, policy. The thing about diversity of thought - it doesn't exist with democrats but it does it does elsewhere.
