aufan57 922
Man, what a tough break for Montravius. Hoping he heals quickly and gets back on the field terrorizing the NFC Central. Quote Green Bay Packers defensive tackle Montravius Adams will miss "multiple weeks" after suffering a foot injury in training camp. The rookie from Auburn participated in the Packers' first practice of training camp on Thursday, but left Friday's practice. He attended, but did not participate in Saturday's first padded practice. The Packers were off on Sunday. "He'll be out a while," Green Bay coach Mike McCarthy said at his Monday morning press conference. "I don't have the specifics of how that's gone, but it'll be multiple weeks." Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported Adams had suffered a stress fracture and might need a screw inserted in his foot. "It's the unfortunate part of our game," McCarthy said. "When it happens to young guys -- these practices are so critical for their development, especially in Year 1, not only learning what to do and how to do it, but just how we practice and everything that goes into it. So it's just unfortunate." http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2017/07/foot_injury_sidelines_green_ba.html
