Baseball vs Rhode Island series

Recommended Posts

Nice save from the catcher as he was able to bounce the ball back into the infield instead of a wild pitch.

Brown with a hard hit liner off the glove of the SS. Saved a double but now we have bases loaded with 0 outs for Farquhar!

Edit: Easiest RBI ever as Farquhar draws a 4 pitch walk.

12-0 Auburn

LaRue with a hit and a nice diving catch by Rhode Island as another run comes in on a Sac Fly

Land to 2b, Bello to CF, Farquhar to 3B, Moss to SS.

Bosse coming in to finish it off on the mound.

Very quick end to the game, there. Stepped away for 5 minutes and Bosse has an 8 pitch inning with 1 strike out and 2 ground outs!!!

Auburn wins 16-0! We back at it in a bit!

Looks like Rhode Island saved their best pitcher for this game. He's coming in with a 1.93 ERA. Lets see if we can get some runs off of him.

Rambusch with a 3-2 lead off walk. A hit and run, Howell misses the pitch, Rambusch steals 2nd. BUT catcher's interference on the swing. Howell out and Rambusch back to 1st.

Rambusch won't be denied the stolen base and then advances to 3rd on a balk. 87 mph ball and hits DiChiara in the upper torso. Runners on the corner with 1 out.

Ware with another great at bat with 2 strikes on him. Falls behind 1-2 and then draws a 3-2 walk on 9 pitches to load the bases! Mound visit for Rhode Island as the pitcher has already thrown 32 pitches.

Wild pitch! All runners move up! DiChiara SCORES!!

2-0 Auburn

Rhode Island pitcher falls behind 2-0 and catcher comes out to try to settle him down.

Wyandt gets a single because the fielder loses sight of the ball and bases are loaded again. New pitcher coming in for Rhode Island.

Rhode Island starting pitcher got 1 out and had to throw 49 pitches.

Diving attempt but couldn't catch it, Hill singles and DiChiara goes to third!

Ware strikes out looking. He was the FOURTEENTH batter up. That was a long ass inning.

Interesting to see how long Bright can go with having that long break between pitches.
