ValleyTiger 2,894
As we all know David Irons will be a great cover corner for . He transferred from Junior College, and injured his knee in two-a-days last season. He's a senior this year; a senior that could petition the NCAA for another year of PT b/c of his injuries. Tre Smith didn't waste any time getting his medical redshirt.....so is Irons planning on asking for an extra year? Anyone with any inside info? aulax1 0
The last I heard, Irons is petitioning the NCAA for one more year of eligibility. I don't see it being any problem. I am sure we all remember Daniel Cobb, the QB who just wouldn't go away because of all the extra years he got fro the NCAA.
autkidd 0
Thank the good Lord that David Irons is not Daniel Cobb.
WarEagle_57 0
I don't see how Irons won't get it. Some of the players they give it to I just don't understand. And he has never played a down for AU, so surely he'll get one.
aulax1 0
The on thing I have learned in my years, is that you can never be sure about anything when it comes to the NCAA.
Wishbone 0
David plans on graduating in December and going to graduate school. He plans on applying for a medical redshirt which he is sure to get.
