That was my freshman year. To the honest, one of the main reasons we went to that game (aside from a 2 night lay-over in NOLA) was that playing LSU was such a unique experience. We all barely remembered Auburn having every played LSU before. It has been a good rivalry game, but we will still play them twice every 4 years, and to get Florida and Tennessee back on our schedule with some regularity, LSU as an annual opponent is a sacrifice I'm willing to make.
