Softball wins First Two Fall Games

Thanks so much for posting @OlderWhiskey - I was going to search for softball results today.  Were you able to attend the games and, if so, were there many fans in attendance?  Also, any insight into the players who have left the program? 

Really (pleasantly) surprised at the result vs Troy as they had a very good pitcher last year.  She may have graduated or just not played.  Rolfe was a star in high school but pretty shaky in her few appearances on the mound last year.  Sounds like she may be ready for prime time this year (and we will need her).  Excited to see what this team can do next spring.

Troy pitched Haley Pittman. She transferred there from Florida. She is from Montgomery and was committed to AU when the Myers crew was still around.

I did not attend the games, but there may be pictures on Facebook or X that show the crowd.  Pittman threw 8 pitches against us when we beat them 11-0 at Troy back in the spring, scoring a strikeout and a walk.
