For the season, Bama has defended 127 possessions. Only 8 of those drives have gone for 70-yards or more and 5 of the 8 drives resulted in TD's. They also have forced their opponent's to 52 three & outs.

On offense, Auburn has 114 possessions with 25 drives of 70-yds or more. 19 have resulted in TD's and 2 FG's. Our offense has gone three & out 26 times.

Yardage and points look pretty close on defense against common opponents.

AU plays a different style of defense than UA. I think UA's D is more dominant and AUs is more finesse, but both work pretty well. Utah St and MTSU were probably the only games that UA didn't have their 1rst string D in most of the game. AU on the other hand 4 or 5 games that the 1rst string D didn't play any in the 4rth quarter.

AU has been hurt the last two games by fast versitale players. I think our D will match up well with UA's offense.

I think UA's D matches up well against AU's offense and will look to shut down Irons, Lester & Davis and make Cox beat them.

What does all this mean, maybe nothing, who knows.
