I love Auburn but...

5...count em...5 sacks in the first half!!!! That is ridiculous. Are you guys not sick of talking aout this every week? When there is a problem shouldn't it be fixed? Our offensive line should be better and continues to disappoint. Why are others afraid to admit what everyone knows deep down? Further, did anyone else notice how STUPID our defense was the first couple of drives? We kept stunting to the side with 2 offensive linemen, and they kept running it right past us. It is not our players fault... I called 75% of the plays called by our offense and knew our defense wouldn't blitz too much. Our coaches need to wake up.

As said previously, enjoy the win. It appears we are starting to click on all parts of the team. Special teams and defense are starting to do their part at scoring. This is how it is supposed to be. I for one am very grateful for the win and our overall performance against a number 2 team in the SEC.

with 2 games in a row 5 sacks each, all of those "HONK IF YOU SACKED BRODIE" images seem a little silly, don't they? :)

AU's 10 sacks in 2 games > UAT's 9 sacks in one half vs AU.....bammer logic

I agree with you about the offense. I was at the game. I had a great time. I'm glad we won. But you cannot let an emotional victory blind you to the truth. Just because we won doesn't mean that we don't have some serious QB/OL issues. And I think it's more of a QB issue. No offensive TDs people. It's a problem that must be fixed, and it's not the receivers' fault.

I also hate to see you people getting on anyone who voices an honest negative opinion about the team. This, "We won, so chill out, we don't need to get any better" attitude is what loses you games against Arkansas.

It's not that we dont allow negative opinions or something, God knows I've been called out numerous times here for voicing a negative opinion, but even that has a limit. We won the game, 3 hours later the first negative post is posted. Why would you even watch college football if you can't at least enjoy the win for a little? Surely the coaches did not call all the players immediately after the game and go over the film and slay Bosley for the 5 sacks, or the Dline for not stopping the run, etc, etc.

I will say it, we have a problem, OL, DL, WRs. But that won't take away my enjoyment of the game, the enjoyment of a victory over the #2 team. It's a good thing we have two non conf games coming up to hopefully solve those issues before we get GA/AL.
