Making a joke. I bear no ill will for that comment. He followed it up with a compliment toward Dye. No problem there. I'm glad to see Auburn guys all over coaching. aubie57 119
I would like to see Tracey Rocker coaching at Auburn. I was young but I remember him from the plains.
Ranger12 46
I am like G2 and read it as a joke. If you read the whole thing, then you have to put it in context in which he was making the comment. He was being asked what would he tell a recruit the reason he went to Auburn instead of UG with him being from Georgia, so that was his remark. Just a couple of sentences later, he did say that Auburn was the right fit for him. He is working for UG now, so what was he supposed to say? It would be different if he went as far as to trash Auburn, but instead he make an "off the cuff" remark that is meant to be funny and not taken seriously. Also, a transcript probably does the comment no justice since you can't see him laughing or smiling about it.
