AUloggerhead 2,255
Very interesting editiorial from the Seattle Times by a Canadian immigrant: Nightmare Fifty percent of the Canadian paycheck goes to taxes. And, in Ontario, for example, there's a 15-percent tax at the cash register. Think about paying that every time you buy a car, a fridge or clothes. The Canadian middle class has almost been taxed out of existence.

The Canadian middle class has almost been taxed out of existence. Not to mention that all those things that are taxed 15% are about twice as much as they would be in the US. The prices are outrageous. I thank God for the US!

AUloggerhead 2,255
I tried to find an email link, but I couldn't find one. Loggerhead, do you know of a way to get in contact with her? Sorry, I don't have one for Jennifer Meeks. She was identified as a guest editorialist for the Seattle Times. My recommendation would be for you to contact the Editorial section for the Seattle Times and ask them if Meeks left an e-mail address: Editorial/Seattle Times
