Caveman 0
Athlon is revealing one member of their top 25 each week day. So far they have released 25-11. So far, Arkansas, Florida, and LSU have not been mentioned. I have no doubt that the Gators on Bengal Tigers will be in the top 10, but what about Arkansas? Are they top 10 or will they be left out of the rankings all together? Personally, I think that both options are a mistake. Arkansas' lack of a passing game and off-field issues will prevent them from making a top-10 run, but McFadden, Jones, and Monk will be formidable enough to keep them in the top 25. http://www.athlonsports.com/college-football/

However, I have to say that, after 30-odd years of reading these previews, I've pretty much given them up. Why? Because they're almost invariably wrong. It's amazing how off they are. Caveman 0
You're right about the predictions. I usually buy all of the season preview mags for insite into who is returning for rival teams and to try to gain a little information on the competition.
