mcgufcm 4,107
We've got three LBs returning with starting experience (Bates, Freeman, and Evans), and we've signed eight other LBs in the last three years (1 in 2009 that hasn't played: Gaston; 4 last year: Curry, Holland, Owens, and White; 3 this year: Frost, Garrett, and Landrum). We may not have experience, but we have depth. 11 guys to fill three spots (or six if you want a true two-deep) is depth. Is there any word on Jawara White's neck? Will he be healthy for spring? I don't think Bates gets moved because he was a step slow at Safety. He's a Will Herring type. He can play either spot, but he's much more natural close to the line of scrimmage. This coming from a guy that was totally opposed to moving him to LB.
kickerman97 3
I personally do not care where Bates plays as long as he works on tackling this off-season.

tigerman1186 537
I hope Clark can become the punter the coaches expect him to be...plus want to see Parkey become a reliable extra point and FG kicker....by the way, what is the status on Curry, is he back on the team??? heard he got in some trouble at the end of the year....also, did we lose anyone to grades at the end of the semester...never heard anything during bowl week, which is good.... what about our receiving corp...when are the 2 receivers from Louisiana going to step up and make an impact?????
