Great addition.  Now if we can pick up Mosely, that would be icing on the cake!  BIG CATS!!!!!!

Great stuff!  If Auburn can maybe get 10 commits heading into the season.  I think even a 6-6 season would help Auburn in recruiting (It did for Saban, and they lost to ULM)

:wedance::bananadance::happydance::yay::partey::thumbsup:

Now I want some TOP RANKED linemen. A few TOP notched skill players wouldn't hurt either.

If we put an exciting offense on the field from Sept. 5th on, just as we did in the spring game and our OC Gus Mahlzan did in the GMAC bowl + the last 2 years with Tulsa. Those there skill players should come.

Will Sept. 5th get here????

Jawara White (Troy, Ala./Henderson) selected Auburn at 5:30 P.M. Monday, ESPN affiliate Web site AuburnUndercover.com reports. Alabama, Florida State, Ole Miss and Kentucky were the other schools in the mix for White.

He said of the decision, "One, it felt more like home. Two, it's a great coaching staff and they're God-fearing people and, three and foremost, the layers. They're very respectful and great guys to be around."

ESPN's Billy Tucker said of the news, "Auburn's recruiting buzz this spring appears to be paying off as of late with the pickup of receiver Jeremy Richardson (Springville, Ala.) and now White. The on the cusp ESPNU 150 Watch List linebacker was in attendance at the Tiger's Big Cat Weekend and is a good in-state pickup as he was strongly considering Alabama as well."

"Auburn has had a history of molding and developing good defensive players on the Plains, and we feel it is getting an outside linebacker with all the physical tools to mold into a good SEC perimeter defender. White can run and attack vertically as good as most of the top linebackers in this class. His overall range and athleticism on run and pass support is impressive and he will surprise you with his raw short-area power jolting back blockers at the point of attack. It's his ability to get upfield and pressure vertically with his speed that will make him a good fit for defensive coordinator Ted Roof's defense."

"The Tigers still have a relatively small class with just six commitments but five have a solid Scouts Inc. grade of 78 or higher."

In 2008 he registered 88 tackles, four sacks, one interception, six forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and one defensive touchdown. On offense, he rushed for 410 yards, posted 375 receiving yards and scored seven touchdowns.

We hadn't been doing a very good job of it in Tuberville's last 3 years. Look how thin we are at some slots.

The only place we're particularly thin is offensive line, and some of that can be attributed to losing players that we expected to be there. Linebacker is thin, but not that thin, and if Blackmon hadn't left it would likely be viewed as a team strength. The recruiting fell off a little the last couple of years, yeah, but it's not as if Tubs ran the program into the ground...

There's no reason to get hostile with each other. Just agree to disagree.
