Really pleased with this win. I honestly felt like this was a toss up going in. We haven’t played well on the road and Arky was coming off a nice win. The hit on Fair looked brutal. Was shocked to see him back in the game on the next play.

I feel bad for their fans. Coming off the UF win and getting us at home they were probably optimistic coming into this one. Just nothing has gone right for them.

New guys making an impact right away and the old guys looking improved. Very encouraging start.

A win would be nice but if not a hard fought game where we don’t beat ourselves with mistakes.

It seems like you have to hit the QB 5 yards deep in the end zone to get a safety now days. If the QB at any point in his career has been outside of the end zone it’s not ruled a safety.

I don’t want to see him get hurt obviously but it doesn’t make me nervous when he runs. I remember when Cam would take a hit and stay down for a second my heart would stop because he carried that whole team. I don’t think there’s a huge drop off if Robby or HG come in the game. Thorne has made some good throws but has regularly made bad decisions and is a turnover machine. If he throws and runs all over A&M my opinion will change.

I guess it’s maybe better to play on the road at 11am because the home crowds are usually more subdued at that time? Looking for a positive spin.
