Hi. Been a while since I posted. I love the idea we might have 3 backs who can pound the ball. What I am still nervous about is that OL and a passing attack good enough to open up the running game if you can’t pass, you can’t run. Especially not when you have to have those tough yards.

I am not the most knowledgeable, neither am I a novice. There are a few things troubling 1. Why are Berman, Moore, and Akingbola not getting any playing time( especially with us getting dominated on the boards and needing a consistent outside shooter ) 2 . Why all of a sudden has this become the Jabari Smith show? It is not him blossoming out. It is the load falling on him and the offense running through him. 3. Why does Zep Jasper drive and shoot the ball and since when was Green inept in driving himself. Who told him to back up and throw up a 30-40’ prayer? That ain’t a shot. 4. I will say as O P What happened to the 11 man will beat your Men approach. All of a sudden the question is What bench? With greatness comes responsibility. This team has not been giving the effort it did earlier in the year. I know fatigue is part, but Bruce has kept legs as fresh as he could for most of the year it is just the last 10 or so games when the load has fallen on 5-6 guys

Some of my observations 1. AU has so many weapons!! Inside , out , finesse , power, height, quickness. Etc. 2. Jabari is the best I have ever seen at Auburn. I wish we could keep him 2 years, but…. 3. The substitution rate makes it hard to be consistent. I completely agree with Bruces idea of my 10 against your ten. The only problem is it makes it hard on each player to play at the right tempo and to know how to spread the ball around. The tendency is to force the ball sometimes or take a bad shot. Maybe after Flannigan settles in, everything will settle in place. 4 Kessler is a force inside and is doing a heck of a job

Georgia is miles ahead where it counts in talent, the big uglies, especially on the DL. Realistically it looks like offensively we will be much like other teams that have faced them. The one thing though Georgia does not control is atmosphere since the game is at AU. We have seen in the past what the AU faithful can conjure up on a given Saturday!! Still, even deep inside of me I find it hard to see a win. But for Goodness sake, dont pull an Arky on em.

I told y’all that to win or lose really did not effect this season. To get so close hurt, but to see Auburn compete so well was compelling. They for the most part was not intimidated. I expect team and coaching staff to learn from this loss. I hope both see that we have the making of a solid team.

The schedule thingy has been the controversy every year. When the sec points out playing our schedule is to play 3-4 top 12 teams a year, and usually top 1-3 , every one cries bias.

Can’t stand alcommie. Notice again the sickening bias 1. Describing Bo- inconsistent at best, everything is down( negative reporting)while in reality everything is up this year 2. Describing Clifford- veteran qb ,( fails to show he threw more interceptions last year than Bo ) etc on and on i just despise them

Bruce is picky about who he takes. It will not always be the 5 star stud. It might be one who fits his system and style of playing. Defense is a huge thing with Pearl

This is a game Auburn can relax and enjoy. Nobody expects them to win and it will not change their overall season regardless of the outcome. The pressure is all on the Nittany Lions. They want to overtake the Buckeyes, but to lose this game would cripple their chances severely. So AU Can lick their chops and enjoy being the underdawgs and know they are well capable of defeating them. Maybe they watch the highlights of the arky/Texas game and the ending and Harsin says we are the SEC!

You show me where Al or Oates has ever battled for top players till Bruce began his run here at Auburn. Truth is AU and Bruce made a commitment to be more than a football school. Bama seen it was either join the race or lose the battle. They are $$ money to ensure they can compete.

My post on another thread spoke about this. Maybe I am dead wrong. I definitely am not dissing this Penn State team or their talent. But I think it is the typical big10 defense. The sec is just faster. Always has been. Only the Buckeyes have been able to recruit like the sec as far as speed
