I would say cool but if he gets another good P5 job now besides AU he may take Stidham with him.
What are the realistic opportunities for Kendal to be hired by Gus? QB Coach? Offensive consultant?
I can't see him taking a consultant position which pays ~ 35K.

Glad he stayed on topic.

Kendal as what? I havn't heard anything about Doug Nussmeier leaving.
Exactly. If Kendal were to be hired by a SEC school, IMO at this point, he'd be brought in as a QB coach. REALLY wish it was AU. But IMO, Kendal wants to be an OC.

There's a good interview with Stidham by Recruitniks on War Eagle Sports Radio. It doesn't sound as though he's getting much play from Texas A&M right now. He talked about his visit to Florida and how he has know Coach Nussmeier since high school. He talked about his visit to Auburn and said that he's talking to the Auburn coaches daily. Still planning to decide by mid-December. Sounded pretty positive for us, but not a done deal.
Thanks for the update. Here's the interview link:

Absolutely not and nowhere did I say that, but notice I placed a lot of blame on the offensive staff. My point was I think SW gets a lot of blame that he doesn't deserve. We had 2 QBs behind him that didn't look prepared to run the full offense when they were in the game, do they get blamed or the staff? I am more so Frustrated with our offensive staff in terms of game planning, play calling, development, and adjustments than I am with any of the qbs. I also said that I think Stidham is the starter if he comes here which was the whole discussion here anyway.
We're on the same page here.
White was the backup plan to Johnson. Should have never happened. Neither was going to or will ever get us to the SECCG. Staff's fault.
And THAT'S why the staff is emptying the arsenal to get Stidham.

If I ever let myself present an argument that you could obliterate I'd ban myself off this board. Lol. Obliterate. I'm wouldn't even waste my time trying to explain to you that a 0 td/0int game couple actually be a very efficient game
"White has been injured in just about every game he's played bad in"
ELEVEN P5 games he's played healthy in.
5 TDs and 6 INTs
You were proven WRONG
Bye

Offensive scheme and play calling were responsible for all four losses. It doesn't matter who was playing QB. We were destined to fail in those games. UGA may be the only exception to that.
Completely disagreed. Clemson, A&M and Georgia were all winnable with Stidham.

Mods must be in a meeting this morning.
Nope because bird keeps liking ANY post that defends White with inaccurate info and/or injury excuses in the TWO of 13 P5 games played. i.e. he's out of ammo.

I would not consider it hate if the posts were worded differently. I am also not saying white over Stidham at all, if Stidham comes he i think he is the man.
How else do you word factual statistics? Truth hurts.
So you're agreeing Stidham is a better QB than White. Then why continue to defend White as our starting QB to get us to ATL in 2017?

History says yes (to an 8 win season) b/c Sean gets injured every year. That's really the only reason, though.
False. In 11 P5 games played when healthy, he's 6-5.

Really don't get what there is to not agree on with the games listed...
First start, any other QB not named SW gets a break here
First game back from injury after a month off, again any other QB not named SW gets a break here
if SW is blamed for the Clemson game then I've lost faith in the fan base
A&M I agree not a good game
No TDs against LSU but had 1-2 dropped, but 19-26 234 yards is pretty efficient.
its also pretty obvious that Sean shouldn't have been playing either UGA game due to injuries and about 90%+ of this board said the same thing during . Really do not get what is to disagree with here
While Sean is injury prone and I absolutely hate the falling away crap he does. He's a gamer and has my respect as a football player.
So you're satisfied with 8-win seasons?

27 minutes ago, cole256 said:
I agree with alot of that but I can't agree just because he didn't throw a td he played bad. So even I said Kentucky and arky sucked, but I couldn't say he played bad against them. He didn't play bad those games at all
You're supposed to play well against inferior defenses.
In 11 P5 games when he's been healthy, what good teams has he led a victory over?
Memphis at 9-4? 0 TDs and 2 INTs. Jeremy freaking Johnson did most of the scoring.
LSU at 7-4? 0 TDs and 0 INTs. Daniel Carlson did ALL of the scoring.

Gus isn't going anywhere so we need a QB that he actually wants to use as a weapon. Against A&M, their cornerbacks left their assignments way early just because they didn't respect the pass. That's the kind of fear that SW has been putting into great defenses for the past two years
MAKE OUR QBs GREAT AGAIN DAMMIT
And THAT'S what being excited about Stidham brings to this discussion. We desperately need a game changer at QB, not a game manager.

That was a good try, but unless somebody was debating you that js shouldn't play for Auburn you're having pointless arguments....I could come on and start saying how Tom Brady would be awesome in this offense. Now if/when js gets here and when the groupies come out saying how much better sw is than js (which would absolutely happen) then argue. But right now wtf are you even debating?
Just because I obliterated your "White has been injured in just about every game he's played bad in" argument doesn't mean we can't have discussions on how much improvement Stidham will bring to this offense. Same as the other 99 recruiting threads on this forum that have yet to sign with AU.

He's played hurt, and pretty badly hurt in both UGA games the past 2 years, he hasn't played against Alabama the past 2 years.
MSU 2015: 1st SEC start
Memphis: First game back from injury
Clemson: Pretty sure we can attribute this to the offensive staff not SW...
A&M: Not that great of a game here
LSU: 19-26 234 yards...
UGA: Shouldn't have been playing in the first place in either game
4 out of the 6 games viper listed had very legit reasons for lack of success
1 of the 6 games listed he was very effecient, just no TD's but good lord our OL in the red zone turned atrocious. Had what should of been at least 1-2 TDs that were dropped
Does Sean have his flaws? Dang right, but the amount of hate he gets from members of this board is ridiculous.
You're mistaking "hate" for "a position in drastic need of improvement."
Anyone that wants White to start next season over Stidham, then they simply are satisfied with 8-win seasons.

Because if he doesn't come here he's not an option to play for us......sooooo debating sw vs js for what if he's not coming here?
Then why debate any if's on a forum? Why have a recruiting forum? We should save all comments until the first Wednesday of February.
Bottom line...our staff has Stidham leaning heavily to AU. That's as good as it gets at QB right now.

Can you prove otherwise?
Started healthy these games:
2015:
MSU, Kentucky, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Memphis
2016:
Clemson, A&M, LSU, MSU, Arkansas, Ole Miss
That's 11 P5 games.

But there's no point starting the debate before we even know if dude is even coming to Auburn or not IMO
Why not? We're another 8-win team next season if we don't land Stidham.
We're a bonfide SEC Championship contender if we do.
It is THAT drastic.

Only thing holding Sean back is his injury prone body...THAT's why we need a transfer. Great work by the way...now go examine the rest of the story.
Of course it's great work. It's the truth, something most of you are chanting "LA LA LA, I can't hear you" over.
Ah yes, the injury excuse. More excuses for White because we all know if he were healthy a full season, we'd be in ATL the first week of December.
The rest of the story is he was healthy in 11 of those 13 P5 games, so we'll omit Vandy and Georgia in the next truth...
In those 11 P5 games, he has 5 TDs and 6 INTs. Massive improvement when he's healthy for certain.
And THAT'S why we need a transfer.

In 13 P5 games, SIX of them he was shut out.
Need more truth?
In those 13 P5 games, he has 6 TDs and 7 INTs.

Our staff is putting the full court press on his replacement.

Your constant need for validation shows me enough to know that nothing you say whether it's a "prediction" from 2010 or your random and unwanted slander of Sean White, should be validated.
Unwanted? Of course. Truth hurts.
Slander? Not false statements. He's never scored against a Top 25 P5 defense. FACT.
Highest ranked P5 scoring defense he's ever scored against was Vanderbilt. FACT.
Just ask our staff, who's putting the full court press on a transfer.

Very doubtful. Everyone's fav Sun Belt QB is still on the roster, thus we have to hear 8 1/2 more months of praise and starting predictions from his loyal fans till Stidham makes him the 2010 version of Neil Caudle, everyone's fav guy on the bench.

Kodi is listed as a co-OC. I suppose he could be stripped of that and wouldn't be a big deal to anyone if Kendal brings more to the staff.
