The best thing he did was not make it about him. Didn't take stupid shots just because. Everybody collapsed on him, he kicked it out twice, set dude up for a wide open dunk once, and just threw it to the roller and then the he (the roller) kicked it out and they scored. Just be smart and run your offense without turning the ball over..... And play D

I know exactly where we disagree, we disagree with you saying he plays a role as an instigator. That's not what He's doing. And that's fact. When I say a player like him I'm saying a guy who doesn't back down. The other part where we disagree and this is opinion, he just don't play the game the way you like. You may have saw a tech when he played arky and didn't like how he was completely unapologetic he was and you are carrying and now since it's actually has cost us you are going on about it. Had it cost us nothing you still wouldn't like it and you would wait for it to affect us one day. That's why I keep pointing out he's played a bunch of games and it hasn't hurt us before. This is no different how this fan base couldn't stand Seth Williams even though he was one of the best wr we have ever had. This is just a very conservative school who majority of the fan base doesn't even watch basketball like that and they want to basically see that awww shucks basketball where guys are still shooting underhand at peach baskets Still want that slow motion b ball, where you have to make 9 passes before a shot. Don't like when a guy yells after a dunk. Probably don't like the dunk in the first place.... That ball is dead. There are going to be motions and gestures..... The key is when you are big time you are discreet about it. You notice how nobody is mad at the Yale player? Did the same stuff, he is actually the guy that instigated it. His purpose was to make that happen. Nobody was calling for him to get kicked out. Nobody was saying his stuff was like throwing a punch. There's no way any basketball player would ever imagine they would get kicked out for that. The fact that our fan base is turning on him is actually pitiful.

We lost we shouldn't have. CBM made a mistake. It wasn't smart, but who has walked in his shoes? He's in the heat of the battle, super amped up, testosterone going crazy and he has a reaction. Just because he's talked, pushed, people in earlier games means nothing. You don't hear what's said to him, you don't feel what he feel. You don't know. Somebody pointed out jabari and how he carried himself and it just so happened he was just suspended by the league for fighting. Stuff happens. If he did it again I'd be more upset but unfortunately it happened. We still should have won though. If he feels bad about anything it should be he got outsmarted. Literally most of the lessons of becoming a man is learning to control your emotions. Everybody has had to have those lessons. Some people shakes hands and help opponents up, others don't and will knock opponents down. It is what it is

I'm saying do you know the exact rules or is this a bit of you not liking that style personally. You see much of this is subjective, it's as simple as guys who don't like talking as opposed to guys who do. And I actually think it's cultural as well. But besides that I notice it usually a difference in opinion with age gaps. Which I think the older crowd is a bit hypocritical because they are also the same people who will go on and on about being soft. Imo the only thing you should be thrown out for is if you swing at somebody face, or you undercut a person. That's it. I literally specifically said talking about culture. I also pointed out he's won a bunch more than he loss. And how many games has he been kicked out of Many people and even some of the announcers didn't feel like that should have even been a flagrant 2. But I'm not going to pretend that all he does is get kicked out of games. And you are actually making my point as far as you are even saying his hurting the team is actually his presence being missed. But to make it short no that's not what I said, and I think you know that but if that what's you interpreted then ok I guess?

I believe you haven't ever played or maybe you just simply smoke some good stuff if you really trying to convince yourself CBM did anything that hurt this team. Ok you don't like players talking, big deal that's your personal preference and you are entitled to it, but gtfoh trying to make it like it hurt the team or culture or whatever. We were never deep or good on the perimeter. I stopped posting, but if people were on here saying KD, or Jones or whoever were better than anybody else's guards they were lying to you and I'm sorry I wasn't here to tell them they were lying to you. Gtfoh, there's no these guys should be doctors and these guys should be working class or just good at sports. Athletes are smart just like anybody else And you can say it's not money but kids that grow up getting the best schools, the best funding, the best teachers are going to generally make the best grades. That's not rocket science

Lol jabari was kicked out of a game today for fighting.... He's still a good young man. It's basketball. Altercations will happen, especially when it's important to you

In the tourney 9 times out of 10 the team whose guards play the best are going to win. Can't dispute it, can't beat it..... Jay wright said it last night. His great Villanova teams that won championships great guard play. Not saying that means big guys don't matter. Just saying tourney ball is sort of geared towards guards

I don't know what we do next year. I actually was worried about this year but then he signed CBM and CJ. We are going to need athletic, long, versatile bigs to pair up with our small guards.... I really don't know, we'll see what he brings in I guess

I'd really be surprised if any of our guards played over seas. Maybe Tre. Maybe. I think he should actually try to get to the NFL though if I'm being honest. I think Yale's backcourt is just as good as ours, if not better. I think Tre is about on par. I don't know if he would start for them or not but I know that one guy would have started for us. We were supposed to beat them the way we beat bammer, dominate them on the boards and down low

This. Even giving Pearl grace not having a guy with jabari..... There is no way we don't go search for the best PG on the market after that. It's the equivalent of not looking for a QB this year after we saw we couldn't throw for 100 yards in multiple games..... Ok maybe you can coach somebody up (doubt it but maybe) clearly you still bring somebody in for competition, maybe injury, etc. You don't sit pat then lose to the same exact problem again. Then watch a guy you didn't go after become 2nd team all American, all Sec.... That's crazy

Just my opinion, but being tough can't be faked in basketball or football. And so a person that's really about that is going to be a certain way.... And that is needed. They need to be smart though and unfortunately we didn't get that. But emotions are emotions and we absolutely needed toughness, looked at how we melted when it got tough. There aren't too many great players I can think of that haven't gotten into altercations on the court.... We need what he gave us. I would have rather loss anybody minus JB than him. I fully believe if we don't lose him we win. Not only win but win by at least 10.

Well I think that is dumb, there are kids from the hood that will be engineers and lawyers, myself and my brother-in-law. There are privileged kids that become drunks, I know a guy from Florence and he dropped out at Auburn. We had an advantage in the front court, there was nothing about our guards that gave us an advantage over theirs. I'm trying to get you guys to understand that. Our guards didn't have abnormal size, they don't have abnormal skill, they don't have abnormal physical attributes.... They weren't even ranked super high( not like that matters but for those who think it does) the only people who thought we should easily out play their guards are Auburn fan base. Their guy would have started for us on the wing. And we would be a better team if he had

The more I think about it the more disappointed I am with the team, especially our guards. I might make a thread and point out things too look at from a basketball players eyes that show Yales best guy knew he was better than our guys..... The step back he hit to go up 73-72 I think..... The fact he even took that shot shows he had no fear or respect for our guys. We went down and didn't even get a shot off because we were scared, their next possession, he literally waved the pick off.....I can't put into words how disrespect that is to our guys playing defense..... We gave Yales guy so much confidence he literally thought he was Kobe Bryant. For him to even reach that level of confidence is so demoralizing to be honest. We lost the game when we lost that halftime lead. But the way they froze up, the way they missed the free throws..... They didn't believe themselves they were better

It's sad dude exploded against us too, he had a few good games but he hasn't ever shot that well against anybody else smh
