  1. I'm not sure how this is going to be a great class, one of the best, according to Gus. We signed six 3* and one 5*. We signed two OL, one DL, one RB and one LB. All are positions of need. Thoughts?
  2. Bo just threw his first TD in Jordan-Hare Stadium, an 83 yarder. He was 7/8 for 80 yards in the 1st Qtr. The TD was in the 2nd.
  3. Thanks Stat, as always. Unfortunately, the report card makes it worse than it seemed. 0 out of 16 on defense? I can't ever remember our defense scoring a 0.
  4. Not if Gus hires an OC/QB Coach and lets him coach.
  5. @AUBwins did you notice on the last pit stop when Truex had almost 2 second lead on Logano that Logano and Truex entered their pit stall at almost the same time. 2 seconds ahead and Logano was a few stalls in front of Truex. Either Logano was speeding on pit road or Truex was being way too safe.
  6. To show how well other drivers like him, one teammate, Keselowski, was the only driver shown to congratulate him. Normally, many drivers come to victory lane to congratulate the champion.
  7. Gus will not allow Chip to do his job the way he wants to do it. Chip has lost interest at this point, kind of like Lashlee did and like the next one will.
  8. Yes on Schwartz, and Shriver had only 4 carries averaging over 10 yards per carry.
  9. Yep. And we ran it one time in the TAMU game. We run it from the same formation and personnel package as with many of our plays. It doesn't take a genius DC to see that.
  10. I've noticed that when we go to max protect and send three receivers out, they run the same routes, normally 10, 15 or 20 yard button hooks or one cut routes. This makes it easy for 6 or 7 man zones to cover them. Shouldn't we be running routes to divide the zones at different levels and/or across the field?
  11. Arkansas is getting better each week. We're... not.
  12. IMO, the RBs are not the problem. They have nowhere to run. When they do find a seam or get around the corner they are fine. The OLine is the problem with the running game. Kam Is too light to run up the middle. Miller is coming into his own. I would like to see Asa get some touches. I hope our plan is to redshirt Joiner.
  13. I wouldn't want to coach with Gus either. I was surprised Grimes came back.
  14. Grimes left on his own accord to coach with his son at Cincinnati.
  15. Shouldn't D01 be a pass? Not that it matters.
  16. Well, the Braves are done for this season. They gave it a great run! To be so young and to win the East was a major accomplishment. I see good things for these guys. They need to bring in a few experienced pitchers to go along with the youth. #ChopOn
  17. I think he has become very gun shy because he has no faith, and rightfully so, in his O Line. Even when he has time he is rushing the passes. He is putting the ball where it is supposed to be but since he rushed it, the WR doesn't have time to get to the spot.
  18. I think Chip trashed the play card Gus gives him.
  19. A few notes to add to Coach's excellent points. MSU had possession of the ball for 21:40 in the 1st half. They had it for 41:53 for the game. We had one drive of 11 plays in the first half resulting in a missed FG. The rest of the first half we ran 13 plays. We have yet to see Stidham make a play change at the line without looking to the sidelines. Was Gus truthful in saying Stidham would have the freedom to do so? I agree on the missed tackles, just awful. The DEs were crashing most of the game and losing outside containment. If that isn't bad enough they weren't getting to the point of attack to stop the up the middle runs either. Credit MSU though, they came to play. Their plan on both sides was almost flawless and they whipped our butts on both sides of the ball. This was IMO one of the worst all around performances by an Auburn team in a long time.
  20. 😡😡😤😤💩💩
  21. I do still think Gus dictates plays for situations. I would like to see the play card that Chip has to call plays from. The offense looks different because we don't have a read option QB. Also looks different because we are using different formations and much less pre snap motions. IMO, many of our plays are the same plays we have run for 10 years under Gus. You are correct about our pass plays. But, I don't put it all on Stidham. Our WR have run the same routes for 10 years. Our OLine does not give Stidham time for the slow developing routes to develop. The QB has his head on a swivel not knowing where the pressures will come from. When he does have time he hits his target.
  22. Too stubborn to try. Been saying that for five years.
  23. Excellent as usual! I do have to question what you saw with the O Line. I saw each get beaten time and time again. I did like what I saw with Brahms. He will be a good one. Horton is a mystery but it may be due to the injury. If the injury affects him that badly shouldn't we have somebody else in there?
  24. Thank you!! Exactly what I have been saying.
