I think 1999 just shocked everyone bc we weren't good. I haven't looked it up but I think we lost to Ole Miss in OT and completely shat the bed against MSU at home. I'm getting older so I may be wrong, but didn't we take a safety on purpose and then give up a TD to lose? All this occurred late in the 4th qtr....

I was there. It was a fun one but the dawgs weren't that great if I recall. Nonetheless, today was fantastic.

Best game on both sides since 2004. Some could argue 2010, but our secondary was pretty weak. Some may argue 2013, but our defense was purous at best. This was just a beat down. Something I haven't seen in the UGA-AU rivalry since 1993.

If I'm a DC, I wouldn't be opposed to giving up a 20yd gain bc you know what's coming the following play. That's easy to coach and defend. That would leave only two plays to actually defend and get off the field. One of those would be 2nd and long.

You can wear a large chain to gain weight as well!

I guess we'll know who's really calling the plays the first time we get a first down and go hurry up. Dive = Gus. Anything else will be CL.

If our offense looks good against teams that are on par with us from a talent perspective, I'll be pleased. Holding out judgement until then.

You not only pointed out a disparity, to which I answered, you also said "agenda driven statistics" to which I responded with my own assessment. The statistics I provided are FACTS. Facts are stubborn. If you want to use a fine tooth comb to scrutinize a post, have a field day, but please don't miss the forest due to the trees. We have significant issues on offense. 67.9% counting 2013. That makes me feel better about UGA, the Coxcat, having our 2nd and 3rd string qb's confused, scoring 3 TD's against clemson, LSU, Tamu, UGA, bama combined and being held to less than 40 yards in a half on three separate occasions (Clemson, UGA and bama).

Could someone please pin Stats analysis on the front page of every Auburn site? Also, please send it to all the alabama newspapers as well as USA today, SI.com and ESPN. Eventually the message would get to Gus one way or another. It's mind numbing how bad Gus is at evaluating talent.

This is the first team since 2013 that you can actually see the team improving on the field. We aren't world beaters, but it appears we're heading in the right direction. Much different feel than last year and early this season. Hope this continues. WDE!
