I think Georgia uses Brock Bower in a “hybrid” role. A good hybrid TE is a difficult matchup for most defenders. Too fast for linebackers and to big for safeties and corners.

I just looked it up again. Finley is a Junior and he is making freshman mistakes. Ashford is a second year freshman (transfer). We know what we have in Finley (Jeremy Johnson 2.0). Give Ashford a chance maybe he shines when the bright lights are on him. Finley threw two picks the kind that will get us beat when we play quality competition and he was under very little pressure from Mercer.

Finley has a really cannon for an arm. He lacks consistency. I really failed to see the improvement in his game. He stares down receivers, fails to read defenses and turns the ball over way too much. He is a junior, the game should have slowed down for him by now. This is who Finley is. Ashford is a freshman. We know he is a running threat, the jury is still out on his arm. I think we should give him a chance. Play Ashford.

Just now saw the film on this kid. We REALLY need to keep this one on board. Great size, speed and arm. Huge upside....

The most solid tackler that I can remember at Auburn was Karlos Dansby and he was never a headhunter all he did was put the runner on the ground. There are a lot of players that try to hit the runner as hard as they can and they have terrible form and will miss the tackle trying to for the WOW hit!! I am not ready to compare the Marsh kid to Dansby just yet but he does seem to have a similar playing style. His stats also indicate a good nose for the football!!!

Watch the highlight reel. This kid closes fast and appears to like contact. Great prospect. I think he will look good in orange and blue!! WAR EAGLE!! AND BOOM!!!

3* - 4* it does not matter. Like several have already said look at the offer sheet. Apparently a lot of experts think he's pretty good based on the schools that want him. Welcome to Auburn Mr. Sherwood and WAR EAGLE!!!! BOOM!!!!!
