It is a 100MM business with multiple stakeholders. You have to have buy in or you have rough presidents handing out 49MM contracts to average coaches.

I agree. But he was paid 5 MM per year, and part of his responsibilities is to mingle with all stakeholders. He just doesn't have the personality for a major football program.

I dont know why some of you think loving AU is a metric for playing QB at my university. I graduated from AU. I love it as much as Bo and Pat. Doesn't make me qualified to play QB. Bo Nix is not a very good QB. We have three years of data points to prove it. He is closer to JJ and Sean White than Cam and NM. I will critique my QB based on production. If Bo truly loves AU and AU football, he will look at his performance while playing here and say he was average at best.

In fairness, he was a skinny raw QB when he was here. IDT he goes to any SEC program and develops to where he is today. Perfect storm for he and Freeze.

I am ready to move on from Bo. Half of his TDs this year came from Akron and ASU. His only meaningful wins was against the a LSU program in turmoil and an Alabama team that just lost the QB (2019). He has a career completion % less than 60% and a terrible RTG by ESPN. Then there is the fumble vs Arky, the backwards air fumble vs TAMU. He just isn't worth the trouble.

I for one am glad for these moves minus Mason. If you can't beat GA St as a QB or have to situation awareness to stay in bounds as a RB, then good luck at JSU.

No real QB coach is going to watch Bo's tape and risk his career. May be Rich Rod at JSU, but he is not playing at TAMU or Clemson like he thinks.
