From Twitter with possible opponents listed: Auburn is either the 5th or 6th seed in the SEC Tournament. If Tenn beats South Carolina in the second DH game, Auburn's the 5th seed against Mizzou. If South Carolina wins, Auburn's the 6th seed against Georgia.

What is the SECT situation? Looking at the standings and matchups today, it looks like a 5 seed maybe? Would be great to play the #12 then #4

We are in a decline, hopefully temporary. Didn't get enough out of the Kess/Jabari team in the post-season. Didn't fix the roster that off-season. Delayed the transition/overhaul to this season. So a 3:1 trade isn't great when the 1 didn't really pay off

Just spring portal window so far, but we lost at least 3 other WRs in the first period and picked up a WR from Cincy that their insiders weren't too concerned about losing and the TE Fairweather which seems like a great pickup. So that one is probably still a push. I think we all agree that one more top-tier WR is needed. Lots of names still out there that entered before this window closed though. You are right on the DL/LB picture. It feels a lot better when considering the first transfer window.

Lost Landen King and Tar'varish Dawson (we saw flashes of talent from both and they will land at P5 schools) and picked up a very talented but unproven at the CFB-level Caleb Burton. Not saying it won't be an improvement eventually, but right now that 2:1 trade feels like a push. One more talented WR would push us to upgrade. Defensive front 7 this portal cycle specifically, we are losing Jeffrey M'Ba, Dylan Brooks, Powell Gordon, Desmond Tisdol, Kameron Brown and picked up McLeod. Maybe addition by subtraction is right though.

On the OL this portal window, traded Smith for Muskrat. Love seeing us upgrade when the opportunity presents itself.

Unfortunately in gymnastics, the hype results in higher scores. Seems like a big chasm at the scoring table between the Top 3 and anybody else. Losing Suni late in the campaign was not recoverable, so I am hopeful that the team is in a better place now that they will have time to prepare without her.

I love the optimism. This team never hit its peak like we saw last year with the UF tie and Final 4 run. I think that's what is disappointing.
