  1. This is sickening. Imagine reading a headline about how a group of people were actively trying everything in their power to see that a 10... ten... year old girl is forced to have birth after getting rape. That poor girl is going to have PTSD for the rest of her life after seeing the scorn and hate she received for seeking proper care. Imagine this being your own daughter. It doesn't have to be this way. It can't be this way. Imagine the course of your life changed permanently just because people think you have to produce babies.
  2. Also, this is part of commentary about the Jan. 6th hearings: He said the quiet part out loud.
  3. Also from The Hill: “President Trump is a 76-year-old man, he is not an impressionable child. Just like everyone else in our country, he is responsible for his own actions and his own choices. As our investigation has shown, Donald Trump had access to more detailed and specific information showing that the election was not actually stolen than almost any other American. And he was told this over and over again. No rational or sane man in his position could disregard that information and reach the opposite conclusion. And Donald Trump cannot escape responsibility by being willfully blind,” she added.
  4. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, this is how he explained his views on climate change to a group of Republican activists: “We don’t control the air. Our good air decided to float over to China’s bad air. So when China gets our good air, their bad air has got to move. So it moves over to our good air space. Then, now, we’ve got we to clean that back up.” This is how, in March, he explained his doubts about evolution: “At one time, science said man came from apes. Did it not? ... If that is true, why are there still apes? Think about it.” -------- Your love for republicanism has blinded you beyond belief. C'mon. There's more sensible Republicans in Georgia than that. Sad.
  5. Independence is a funny word. Women don't have independence to make choices with their bodies. We don't have independence to separate religion from state. Native Americans don't have independence from state. If Obergell falls, then gay people don't have independence to marry whoever they love. If Moore v. Harper falls, we don't have independence to vote whoever we want. Independence only works if you're white, male, abled, and Christian.
  6. Speaking of the topic title, the committee has announced there will be another hearing on next Tuesday (July 12th) at 10am ET / 9am CT.
  7. Hutchinson has reaffirmed that her testimony was nothing but complete truth. If it's true that Hutchinson was lying, they're welcome to take an oath to say so. If the agents decide to go with a public announcement denying the fact instead of going in person to take an oath, I'd take that with grain of salt knowing that Hutchinson would likely be charged with perjury (felony charge) if she lied.
  8. They're welcome to come and testify under the oath. Hutchinson can be charged with perjury if it is verified that she was lying. Your question at the end is a good question. Would Garland deliver charges against Trump and his company? Trump and his company have committed a list of crimes, so if the shoe fits... we'll see with due time.
  9. Okay. You're still missing the point (or intentionally ignoring) of this topic thread. Yesterday it was revealed that: Trump assaulted a Secret Service member. People have said that they were going to be charged with every crime imaginable if they went through with it. Trump threw his lunch on the wall after Bill Barr announced that there were no evidence of election fraud. Trump said they should let the insurrectionists in the Capitol -- "they weren't going to hurt me." He encouraged that the mags should be taken down -- indicating that Trump knew insurrectionists were armed and had an intention to harm people. There's so much more to come about the whole Jan. 6th riot that we're still learning and will be finding out more about. But Schiff is looking very suspicious. Maybe you're right, maybe you're wrong. That's still not the point here. It still doesn't change a thing about what is currently going on. Trump has a track record and it isn't providing truth to the charge. He has convinced important people for years that he had proof and none existed. If you believed him back then when he has been a proven liar; why would you believe him now?
  10. "...We're going to get charged with every crime imaginable if we make that movement happen." Yeah, you sure caught Schiff red-handed with that.
  11. Agreed. It's right there for the DOJ. Merrick Garland has to make the call. If he doesn't, then the next coup is inevitable... if there's still elections by then.
  12. Downright explosive. This is bigger than Watergate itself. Rumblings have it this hearing was called last-minute because the committee got a word that Hutchinson's safety may be in danger, so they wanted to get this out to the public before anything could happen to Hutchinson.
  13. This admission by Hutchinson is mind blowing. Trump knew there was going to be violence on that day.
  14. Guns have more rights than women. Also... our mothers and grandmothers had more rights than the women and girls of today. What a dark day for our nation.
  15. And what if the doctors and parents agree that the abortion is the safest procedure for the 11-year old? So, you do see why abortion can be safe and good for healthcare.
  16. In that vein, I expect public funds to be supported to religious institutions such as the Satanic Temple, as they are a religious organization as well. https://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/443687-pregnant-11-year-old-rape-victim-in-ohio-would-be-unable-to/ So, the 11-year old should ignore her health in order to have a baby... that she was raped, against her will, by a sick man. Too bad for her -- she must have the baby. There are more stories of these I can share with you on why abortion is healthcare. But I recognize that we'll never see eye to eye on this matter. To be clear: I believe in God and I have a relationship with God. I don't like Christianity and its warped ideals that were espoused by the politicians (on both aisles - GOP and Democrats) who cherry-picks messages to fit their political agenda. I know there are others on this board who feel the same way as I do. I believe that God is loving, kind, and compassionate. I believe love, care, and kindness is the religion we should practice. I don't want to be in a place where God is as judgmental as you are. I hope your heart will be softened. Good day, sir.
  17. You and me agree on this part. It's up to Department of Justice. I'd be very interested if charges are going to happen with the conclusion of Jan. 6th hearings.
  18. So, why is it your business to concern yourself with? You and me are not the Judge. Only the God decide. I don't get why you guys are so concerned when ultimately it's not your call to determine if they're wrong or not.
