  1. We are Running Back University, and it looks like the Worm is going to fit right in. Welcome to Auburn , and to this site.
  2. I also enjoyed reading these post after every game Coach, I would like to add that in addition to Javaris Davis making good plays, that Stephen Roberts has really come on the last couple of weeks, he always seems to be around the ball, and especially reads the runs very well.
  3. You better lock it before Viper Strike or Tiger Scout see it.
  4. Speaking of wide receivers, I love the way Eli Stove runs the ball. His effort on the speed sweeps is outstanding, and I feel like he squeezes every possible yard out of the play. It’s too late for this year, but I hope Stove and the other freshmen wideouts will be a much bigger part of the AU offense next season. I also love the way Eli runs on those speed sweeps; there is no hesitation, he hits the hole wide open, and runs that way until someone tackles him. I have been impressed with Ryan White's hands all season, but even he dropped one Saturday. I think the Kam Martin's miss bothered me as much as any of the drops Saturday, because not only would it have been a big gain, I just didn't see the effort to catch the ball, it went straight thru his hands.
  5. Thanks for posting this timeline- what a cluster, and I really enjoyed this : June 1, 2016: Ken Starr resigns as chancellor, says he will remain as a professor at Baylor Law School. He says he wants the "full body" of Pepper Hamilton information released and hopes the public will get a clearer picture of how the university has handled sexual assault allegations. I got a clear picture of how the University handled the allegations , and it's not good. I was initially interested in Kendall Briles coming to Auburn as Offensive Coordinator, but after reading that, there is no way possible that everyone didn't know what was going on. I say we keep Rhett, and if Stidham comes he comes.
  6. During each team's last 6 possessions of the game, Auburn gained 302-yards on 37 snaps, scoring 4 touchdowns. Arkansas gained 58-yards on 26 snaps and zero points. What a dominating way to close out a game. The Defense played angry the whole game, even late in the game when we had 2nd & 3rd stringers in they were still attacking the ball- I bet we won't have any teams congregating on our AU symbol before the start of another game.
  7. Out of all of your 18,404 post, this might be your best one yet. War Eagle!!
  8. Thanks JMR- I agree with everything you said, I even told my son as we were playing how much better Chandler Cox was blocking compared to earlier in the season. But this is what I like " Another well-timed circumstance for the AU staff is the arrival of Coach Crime Dawg. Auburn has had some excellent secondary coaches over my lifetime, and McGriff is as good as any of those. Our secondary seldom busts a coverage, and plays with great confidence. I enjoy watching the techniques applied by our cover guys, and as they get experience, that is only going to improve". I noticed that even when the receiver made the catch that someone was always right there with them; this is a huge improvement over the last several years where a wide receiver was open, with no Defensive Back within 5 yards of them. One more thing that I noticed is Ryan Davis has some great hands; there was one catch on the sideline and there were hands around the ball, and he not only made the catch, but got a couple of yards to boot.
  9. I agree- him & TD Moultry will fit in nicely with the linebackers we have returning.
  10. Stat- I would like to know how many punts & kick-offs we have returned, I don't remember many of them; I do remember Johnathon Ford had a chance to return a kick-off and misplayed it and it went through the end-zone.
  11. 15) Pass rating of at least 126.3: [206.7] pass When is the last time an Auburn Quarterback had a 206.7 passer rating?
  12. What did the former players have to say & which former players was it?
  13. Jeremy Johnson sat out scimmage; Sean White and JF3 got the reps And then there were two. I still believe it will be Sean starting, but it looks like they are giving JF3 every chance to win the job (as 23 has stated).
  14. So if he comes in at 6'1 and 215-220 lbs. do you think he would make an every down back then?
  15. Sounds like we need to set up shop at that school.
