Bowl games have mostly been much more entertaining than the semis.

This transition reminds me a bit of Pittman going to Arkansas. (I’m not talking about history of the two school’s teams). I like to read forums for other teams and there was a lot of mixed opinions about pittmans first year. He lost a lot of close games (one being Auburn that he should have won). Fans came down on one side or the other after that first year BUT it seemed the players were behind him regardless of the record. I just think the player’s actions are a better tell about the program. Hope I am correct on this one.

I hate saying it, but Bama just looks bigger and faster. Even when the RB gets hit at he line, he goes for five more yards. Just no way Cinn can compete.

I still do not get the non movement of the betting line. I understand how betting works and it’s not a prediction per se, but it does indicate where money is going. When Mullen was fired, the next games line moved close to ten points….made sense. This does not. We have top players not playing, someone else calling the plays and a backup QB. Of course, I thought the line on the Bama game would be covered by the first quarter and that didn’t happen, so who knows. I guess we will know tomorrow.

I thought the demeanor on the sidelines with the team was never that of a leader. The team did not rally around him. I just think he had a leadership problem. Does not make for a great QB regardless of talent
