Auburn got in on him early just as his show cause wa expiring. Had Barbee lasted a year longer or shorter then the match with Bruce likely never happens.

Lack of good showings in the quad 1 games definitely came back to bite us in NCAA seeding. I think the Baylor loss to start the year and the bama loss on the road were keys. Win either of those and we are probably a 3 seed and not in the bracket of death. But yeah people freaking out over a couple loses is pretty funny to read back on now.

Thats not a good stretch for Memphis. When he couldn't capitalize on that great initial signing class you had to know it wasn't going to get better. Can't just attract talented players at this level. Got to coach em up as well.

Wow.....but not terribly surprising. The dude was doing well at UTEP before Auburn hired him. For whatever reason the match between he and Auburn didn't work but not surprised he is having success again at lower level.

Seems the experiment with hiring a bunch of ex players a few years ago has failed pretty badly. Howard at Michigan is probably in trouble, Stackhouse is out, and Penny can't be too far behind.

It's not fair but it's not meant to be fair. It is meant to reward the teams who had good regular seasons. And i have no problem with it personally.

People point to the App State game as most disappointing loss but for me its that State game we lost at their place. I know you treat college road games different but we just should not lose to that team.
