Same....that game has letdown written all over it. If the team does come out and stay focused then big props to them and the coaches being able to pull it off.

Hate the refs made the second half a free throw contest. But happy we won the run and gun portion of the game and the free throw contest. Felt good that we would win this one comfortably and glad the team delivered. And didn’t really shoot well either. This teams ceiling is sky high

I’d be really interested to see how Aden would do shooting from a normal range more often. Seems he has gotten away from jacking up those deep shots recently and I’m a fan. He was not hitting enough to warrant the wasted possession. Also wouldn’t hurt if he sped up his shot a bit.

This one is important. Rivalry. SEC standings. National Standings. Payback. Every reason in the world for our guys to be plugged in tonight. We win by double digits.

The stupidity of Bruce complaints this year have been on another level. I blame it on the sad state of the football program that we have some of the knuckle draggers finding their way over here. These are the "fans" that only pay attention when we play bama. They complain loudly about everything if we lose to bama. If we beat bama you never hear from them. We've lost 1 neutral site game, 3 road games and are a top 25 team in the country. In the discussion of teams that have the potential to make a run in the postseason. And you got people on the board acting like Barbee or Lebo are back in charge. Frustrating to read from the people who actually follow the team and season more than checking scores on espn. EDIT: To be clear i'm not referring to anyone who has posted in this thread so far

Huge road win! Hell of a game by the tigers. Ol miss came out on fire and we fought right back. Love it!

If i was following this thread last night to know if AU was winning the game or not, I would have thought it was a nail biter or that AU was losing and I would have been concerned. I was posting a score update for those following along and not watching the game. Hey the team needs to get better and play better going forward. Its a true statement and no one is arguing that. I do question if some of you guys have expectations that are rooted in reality or not but i'm also not trying to manage those for ya. So if you want to be doom and gloom while Auburn is winning a game then you do your thing. I plan to enjoy what wins we can get cause its going to be tough sledding the rest of the season.

Life after Bruce is a dark place i don't want to go. I think it will be easier to sell then AU job but hiring a coach is such a crap shoot. Hopefully we don't fall off the map with the next coach but its going to be a step down. How many all time greats are followed by the next all time great??

He’s a better creator compared to Aden but Tre is definitely more turnover prone. Credit to Vandy for spotting a weakness and keep going at it. Guard us tight as soon as we cross over the line and we try and dribble out of it

3 back court violations on Tre. Sometimes we get reminded we have a sophomore and freshman playing PG.

I was screaming at the TV why is Berman guarding their best player (Sears)!? I like Berman and think he can contribute to this team but you just can't let situations like that happen. Put your guys in situations they will succeed. Don't play a guy just so he can hit some imaginary minute quota. Hope Pearl looks into how that played out and does something to address in future matchups.

Glad the team fought back in the second half. We started off the game well but the constant stoppages seemed to get us out of our flow. Bama played one of their best games and we played one of our worst. While overall play improved in second half shooting did not. I like our chances when they come to AU and play.

Excited to see how our defense matches up against them. Guarding without fouling is going to be really important playing at their place. Gotta press and turn them over. Lets get this win Auburn!

Also a good lesson on why it is hard to make scheduled and know exactly what you are getting. Notre Dame, Indiana, and USC would all be games that would normally earn you a lot of cred. But all those teams are having kind of disappointing years. Ok St. was also in that early season tourney but lost to St Bonaventure so that was another big win opp lost. But good thing about being in SEC.
