Agreed on it being more 55/45 Indiana. Def not 5 to 1. But still huge props for them coming and showing out. They were very loud at the beginning and at the start of the second half when they were still in the game. You can tell that is a passionate fan base. I'm glad we did not have to listen to them the whole game. Would have made for a long afternoon as an AU fan. I was sitting next to a big group of Indiana fans and you could tell it meant a lot to them and that losing like they did hurt. I respect that kind of passion in a fan base

2 bad outside shooting games in a row starts to make me uneasy. If Denver Jones cannot find his outside shot we may struggle. That would mean little to no offensive production from the 2 spot AGAIN unless we play Tre there and that would make our PG depth none existent. My biggest concern is Denver isn't even close on his shots. They are barely grazing the rim. I feel like Aden and CBM shots are atleast close and will start to fall eventually.

That would make for some great AU publicity if he decides to come back for our game!

I think you may have a slanted view of our outside shooting due to the most recent game against Virginia Tech. We shot 12% and made 2 3s....super terrible all around and the whole team. But overall offense and shooting hasn't been a problem. We have to be averaging high 70s in pts per game. And if you look at 3pt percentages they are pretty good. Johni 33% Aden 40% Denver 42% CBM 25% Jaylin 30% KD 25% Tre 45% CBM will start hitting them...he is way too good of a shooter to keep that percentage going. I'm not sure why Denver hasn't come on yet. He just isn't taking a lot of shots and i don't see him involved a lot yet in general. Have to think he'll get going but i have some concerns there. Not everyone can step up divisions so smoothly. But hoping he will settle in as the team plays more. I would like to see Tre shoot more 3s but overall no complaints here. I think this team is just more well rounded and we don't have to rely on the 3 ball as much as recent seasons. Our point spread is beautiful....2 guys averaging double digits and then 7 guys averaging between 5-9 pts a game. That is great balance.

I tried to pump KD up by making him my man crush but its not working so far How that guy can keep jacking up guarded 3s from 4 feet behind the line while making about .05% of them.....wish i had that confidence in my day to day life lol

SEC/ACC challenge ends in a 7-7 tie. Some surprising losses on both sides. But overall SEC held its own.

Moore had a bad game last night for sure. Agreed on CBM starting. Love Pearl rewarding guys who have been here and put in the time but obvious CBM is the better option. Really want to see more Aden and Tre lineups. And how can we get Denver going?? Can’t believe that guy hasn’t made more of an impact. Great free throw shooter atleast

What a game by Broome! Couldn’t make a 3 all game and still won by 15+ That’s a huge deal. They saw the big man was hit and fed him the ball.

I feel like Ol Miss is going to be a scrappy team all season. Not sure they are top half of the SEC but it'll be a fight for anyone who has to play them. Kentucky is very legit and scary. Their all around size is impressive. Miami guards were just too small to compete in that game.

AF was coming off an injury riddled and disappointing year his Junior season. If he thought he was going to walk into practice and be handed a starting position he was living in lala land. Kudos to Bruce for making him earn it and bonus kudos for benching him when he didn't take the competition well. Disagree on that strife derailing the season. That season sputtered because of lack of shooters and AF was a part of that overall poor shooting effort. Also Wendell pounding the ball into the court at the to of the key for all but 5 seconds of shot clock also did not help. But i really don't want to trash AF just to pump up CMO. AF ended up having a fairly decent Senior season and good for him. I'm glad he is doing well at Ol Miss and wish him the best. I don't recall CMO being the liability you describe and i'm not trying to hunt down those stats. I recall he was playing pretty well up until the shoulder injury and after that he was pretty ineffective. And so far this season I have no complaints about his play. Time will tell with both AF and CMO how they play as the competition gets tougher. I'll agree that i am glad he is able to play the 3 this year instead of the 4. I don't think he'll be called on to close out many games.

Not sure what your big problem with CMO is. He is a glue type player that will rebound, play good defense, and occasionally get you get you 4-8 points a game. That's it and no one is expecting anything more than that. He is also averaging a whopping 2 more minutes per game than his backup CBM and his starting position is likely a thank you for his years of hard work and dedication to the team over the years. I expect at some point CBM will get the starting nod but since they are playing equal minutes i don't know that it matters. AF is a better player all around than CMO and i haven't seen anyone state otherwise. AF started over CMO his whole AU career when he wasn't hurt, coming off injury, or in the middle of long stretches of being completely ineffective as a role player. Actually that is one thing CMO is better at AF at...being a role player. AF has only shown an ability to make a difference when he is the focus. I'm glad AF season is off to a good start and hope he continues to play well. I'm not losing any sleep over facing him and Wes when we play ol miss this season.

Didn't watch the game either but glad to hear Pearl thought the second half effort was unacceptable. 30 pt win but no excuse for a&m to win the second half. These guys better develop that killer instinct soon or they are going to have a lot of losses this year that they'll look back on and say we should have won that one.

We should beat these guys by 50.
