  1. I’m at the game ... there could be a seat or 2 open ... other than some sloppy turnovers they are playing well. i can appreciate the D way more watching them live. They are very active on D. middle is frustrated. We are better than them. I think this may be an eye opener game for both teams. I hope we can keep from that let up we have seen in the past. if they play the second half likes ifs 0-0, we should have a solid win.
  2. A few days ago ESPN had the stats revised and the 65 yard gain was gone. not sure about NCAA stats.
  3. Please tell me he is coming on an all expenses paid OV from Aussie land?! That would be one heck of a recruiting trip!
  4. Absolutely Player leadership and team chemistry are crucial to special seasons or teams playing above their individual abilities.
  5. I so so so much prefer an announcement like this versus the old 3 card monte hat version. It’s personable and respectful
  6. Also ... isn’t there a 10 second run off on an offensive penalty at the end of the game? Or so that pros? bottom line - I don’t want those b@st@rds to have any extra stats. One of the reasons I’m miffed about that bad snap they reviewed the 12 men on the field and replayed.
  7. He may feel the need to make up for yesterday. It would be nice to see him go for over 20 today with a mix of his left handed drives and a few 3's for good measure. I have decided that I am closing my door at the office and I am going to watch this game! Lets get up early and cruise home to a big win!
  8. I assume we go to the glass a lot in this game, run the floor and play a guard heavy lineup. this feels like the kind of game we’re spencer, okeke and particularly mclemore have above average offensive performances.
  9. there are alot of athletic guys on the court, but mclemore's athleticism is at another level, particularly for his size. and in combo with his vertical, he is an interesting match up for other teams. he is relentless and aggressive at times and seems to play very smart (to go along with his well publicized book smarts)
  10. i hope KJ stays in his pajamas at the house. we have a stable of running backs that need to be run. i also hope they let stidham throw the ball about 40 times. let some of these WR's get the ball in their hands and have some fun. lets go full air raid this weekend! I'd like to see malik throw the ball about 10-15 times starting mid way through the 3rd quarter. i fully believe the malik rpo pass against GA (whether intended or not) will cause alabama some consternation. you know we will pull out the malik rpo package against bama. now they will have to make sure to keep a safety back to cover coates ... i mean slayton ...
  11. One of the plays that stidham took a hard hit .. tv guys discussed him holding on to the ball too long ... there was a 12 yard crossing route that was open a count or 2 before he airmailed the ball. i think gus has scared the crap out of him about turnovers and he isn’t throwing the smaller window balls. there aren’t as many middle, midrange throws - but there are some. Stidham isn’t throwing the few we have. btw, a few other games they have been dropped
  12. I know everyone hates the wildcat, but it was working pretty well in the first half.
  13. I thought he took a couple hits I wish he didn't. One close to the sideline and near the goal line looked like he was a little groggy id like for him to learn to take a hit better. He doesn't appear to be the type to dole hits out
  14. Joey G doesn't need help, unless it's to get a higher recruiting ranking. He had an offer and has accepted it from one of the top 15 programs in the history of college football - auburn. What else does he need?
  15. I'm more concerned about some of the auburn fans going loco, reading things into this game and then extrapolating it farther than that. I hate the coaches went so vanilla, but there is no position group that can be evaluated to its fullest without knowing what position the coaches put them in. ZERO offensive position groups. edit: johnny not directed at you
  16. this guy will easily be playing at 225 when he is a sophomore ... it will be good weight and he won't lose a step. I had the impression he was smaller. Asa will be prototypical NFL size and will continue the long line of Auburn to NFL 1000 yard rushers. War Eagle, baby!
  17. Actually he just has long arms ... he's holding it closer to the camera so it just "looks" bigger. Kinda like a big bass...
  18. Any chance we backed off him because we have someone else in the fold? That could help explain the abruptness of the news? Or someone went hands out and we pulled back?
  19. I just made an edit. It could be more than 125 each year.
  20. His high school is more a Bama school than anything else. About 100 - 125 students or more go to Bama from there every year. Auburn gets 75 or more students each year. im just reaching here but the high school mascot is the Spartans with the exact same logo as mich state. Maybe he was having a little fun with folks
  21. I've watched him play numerous times. He's a great athlete. He isn't going to be our (or any major D1 schools) RB1. If he succeeds, then good for him sticking to his guns. saw an instagram video of him recently messing around running a 1/2 speed 5 yard in pattern. Caught the football while doing a backflip - while running forwards. the kid is gifted, but combined with his 6'3" frame, I just don't see him as a major college running back. He seems to be a legit 6'3". he also was a talented basketball player before giving it up for football.
  22. I hope she goes 2 for 3 with a homer in games against Auburn ... as long as we win 9-1 in the 5th!
