Wherever he goes, he needs a good coach that can coach him up and develop him. I was one of the officials at his game last weekend at Briarcrest, outside of Memphis. He is currently not playing like a top 3 QB. Lipscomb was by far bigger, faster, and had more athleticism. They struggled a lot to move the ball. He was not connecting with his receivers on mid and long range throws. Their biggest plays came on screens. Even several of those were under or overthrown.

IMO he is not getting fired until the AD situation is resolved. There is no way that an interim AD will be given the reigns to hire a new head coach.

He’s 2A (out of 3 divisions) in TN private schools. It’s not the same as most other states.

I referee here in the Memphis area and had his scrimmage Thursday night against Briarcrest. He definitely has the arm and his speed is very deceptive. I am sure there are others better, but he will be a good D1 QB.
