  1. His stats last season are all you need to look at. He had plenty of minutes and took lots of shots. He was not hampered by BP in the slightest. The reason(s) for his in-ability to succeed are all on him. Pointing the finger at the coaches over this is really petty... According to Hoke, Aden was third in shot attempts, second is usage and first in 3-point attempts (by 50!). Additionally, he was 11th in FG%. The stats speak for themselves. This was all on him.
  2. Chaney really turned it on this year, and I was glad to see it. He played tough underneath, drove hard and made good shots.
  3. Hope we can pick up some DL talent/depth in the next portal series...DL is so critical to today's game and we saw what happens last year when you can't pressure the QB enough.
  4. Love hearing these guys after the game. Jaylin is so humble and laid back, Johni doesn’t pull any punches and is more straight forward.
  5. 9, 10, 11 all lost this week. Handle Ole Miss at Neville this weekend and everything will take care of itself. We are absolutely a top 10 team but no need to rush it.
  6. I would consider Harkins an expert as he is devoid of both talent and hard work.
  7. I agree with all of this (as someone who knows nothing really about bball). Thanks for the solid write-up!
  8. Yeah, we have to get better the 2nd half of the season because you're right about our record in the next few weeks. Momentum after playing the UGA/LSU will be key to keeping the fanbase happy and keeping the recruits coming.
  9. We are up 15 PPG over last year on Offense as well, just to put things into perspective. Plus, we are only giving up 12 ppg this year as opposed to 30 ppg last year. The only team they played with a pulse they lost to, even with their increased O production. He may wipe the floor with us but I just don't see it.
  10. Love to watch the plays develop and see the progressions. Everything happens so fast during live-action it's hard to appreciate what these guys are actually doing on the field. Thanks for the video!
  11. Low scoring match, which is fine. Defense prevails for us, Offense gets just enough done. AU - 17 aTm - 9
  12. Obviously, a win, no matter how it happens. Other than that, some downfield passing and more outside running. No turnovers. No injuries.
  13. Great post @LPTiger, perspective does make you appreciate what you have.
  14. Need to focus heavily on live-action passing this week in practice and the game. Thorne and the receivers have to figure out whatever is holding them back...our success this year will depend on this. Pass opens the run, get the passing right and the box will open up.
