Absolutely huge news. He has the chance to shine. I am excited about Dawson as well.

Surprising that Harsin let him back since he "didn't want to be here" or whatever. Could be signs of a coach learning as well.

Or it could be that the reports were untrue to start with.:dunno:

I don't mind the criticism, he has earned...some. Not everything that has happened in '22 has been negative, although it is being framed that way by many.  Just look here, the main pushers of negativity and false narratives, which is different than criticism, are the ones that hated the hire from the start.  Look at who starts the negative threads or who post the most in them. Hell, look at 24, he posted all over the place when the rumors were flying. Since they were proven otherwise...nothing.

The tribalistic way in which some support Auburn is a joke and should be called out.

The last part of Gus' tenure I was all on board removing him. Why? Because it was best for Auburn.  14 months into CBH and I'm still backing him, warts and all. Why? Because I believe it's what's best for Auburn.  A change now would be so detrimental and some just don't care about that. It's strange.

This.  Firing Harsin makes the Head CoachinG job even less desirable.  We are a top 10-15 program and in Coaches eyes maybe a top 50 job because of consistent meddling.

Look at you triggered now attacking posters.  So flustered you can't have a damn conversation.  Jesus.  Smh

I'm a fan of plenty of Harsin's abilities.  I just don't stick my head in the sand and can actually address pros and cons of how he's running the program.

I've agree with many ppl that he shouldn't be judged of 6-7 in year 1.  I've lamented about how with healthy QB I think we win 9/10 games & he's up for COY awards and we're looking at it a lot differently right now.

There are good things and bad.  I'm sorry you've anointed yourself protector of Bryan.  No I will not "shut up".

You are such a clown, I have nOt anointed anYtHing it is just you twisting things like yoU alwaYs do which is why people get into it constantly with you, you have terriBle communication skills.  I will not put up with your back handed jabs.

Yes, Mason is one coach. Bobo is one more. Davis is another. Then there's Williams. Harsin hired them all. He tried to hire Zach Hill, too.

    Forest, trees, etc.

Just so you know, I am determined to bring You back from the dark side !!!  Just you specifically, it doesn’t feel normal for us to disagree, lol.

Maybe because some folks have some more information and are less comfortable just totally writing off a coach being fired 4 weeks into the season.

At least that's what I'd hope. That's where I'm at. I talked myself into thinking this was okay but with everything else, it seems even more suspect now than it did at the time.

Actually, I think the investigation proves what @bigbirdand I have been saying.  Big bird kept telling everyone that these leaks were intentional to cast doubt.  Over the last month I have stated that disgruntled AD employees and PTB were intentionally leaking misinformation.

it should be basic fact that his hire pissed off some PTB because their egos were hurt.  They want him to fail, they tell everyone who will listen he ignores them even though the entire AD knows that they don’t want him to be coach including Harsin.  Would you wanna kiss ass with the guys who are saying they don’t want you behind Your back but loud enough that You know.

The first chance to go after Harsin was the firing of Corn.  Remember all the stupid rumors that popped up so quickly.  Similar to how things happened when he went on vacation.  All garbage and an investigation proved such as they had zero grounds for termination.  Lightfoot found nothing after interviewing everyone including Corn.

I also and trying to figure out the coaching convention situation.  They were cancelled his first year as far as I could tell.  As an outsider the importance of these conventions should have been relayed to him from either the AD or from Someone within the AD itself, not sure that was the case and not a coincidence.  There are some upset people in the AD that hurt Auburn while trying to go after a guy who was trying to focus on his job and not be a nice guy and kiss butts to folks.

He has made mistakes, but he is not getting help either.  The recruitinG stuff is being over blown, The NIL lies, transfers bEing overblown, etc.

Wanting him to fail? I guess you didn’t watch his last two recruiting classes, last season to include the bowl game and his handling of assistant coaches.

    Wanting him to fail?

your stance has been made clear since the day he was hired, we are all well aware.  He disappeared for a while and returned to Gloat and showed excitement for Auburn losses.
