  1. My husband’s comment on this video was, “They’re a team.” It’s fantastic to see how supportive those guys are. I think the culture CHF is building is a strong one.
  2. These are spot on, guys!!! I’m loving them!😁
  3. If this is real, he’s just asking to get bumped down to 3rd string. Was this posted today? I’m supportive of this kid, but we don’t need drama.
  4. And I appreciate you too, my friend!
  5. I HOPE and pray this is not true. 😬
  6. Wow! I feel privileged to be included in the thankful list! I’m very thankful for you, @bigbird! You’ve never once made fun of my lack of football knowledge or the fact that I almost always take the side of the underdog. I know my eternal optimism about all things Auburn gets under some guys’ nerves. I very much appreciate ALL of the mods for their time and effort to keep this site clean and, for the most part, nice. I’m thankful for @aubiefifty for posting articles. I’m thankful for the knowledge I get from so many educated posters and also for the mature🙄 dialog that goes on here and makes me laugh. 😂 Im looking forward to a GREAT season!!! Do I need to post the sunshine pumping meme again? 🤔
  7. The 2010 Iron Bowl was not going our way. We’d changed shirts, switched seats, and were finally desperate enough to get out our stadium seats and sit on them on top of our sofa. Happened to work that time! 😂 I don’t have any current superstitions, but as the season goes on, I’m sure some will develop.
  8. Can’t wait to see what Coach Thornton has done with the big uglies! Everybody get a picture in your mind of last year’s O line. I know we are going to have a much improved O line this year! When Hunter and Alston break for those long touchdown runs and when Payton throws the long bomb down the field, just remember which guys are holding back the onslaught. 😁😁😁
  9. I’m very excited about Peyton Thorne. He seems like a genuinely great young man. He expresses himself well in a thoughtful and intelligent manner. And I probably speak for most the women in here, he’s not bad to look at!!! (We’re fortunate. All our QBs are pretty dang cute! 😁)
  10. That was my thought, too. I don’t see him giving up, because the kid has always been a competitor. If CHF can work with him and challenge him on handling his emotions/attitude, the sky’s the limit for Robby. I think Ashford is very lucky to have Coach Freeze to guide him.
  11. This is fantastic! I’m loving this style of graphics!!!
  12. The women on the forum should identify themselves here!!! I’d be very interested to know how many are actively reading and posting. I learn so much from this site and I love reading different perspectives. I also love looking for the emotional side of stories and events. Not a perspective that the guys usually take. 😁The humor and camaraderie on here is fantastic! I feel like I’ve made some wonderful internet friends.
  13. I just think he is doing what every other coach in football does. Maybe he may have known it was Thorne, but kept the competition alive to make all 3 QBs better. If that’s manipulative and calculating, okay. I thought you might have been implying it was a mean-spirited thing to do. Not if the other QBs benefitted from the competition.
  14. You don’t think he cares about these kids? I happen to think he does, but he’s got a job to do and that’s win games.
  15. Well, then, it seems pretty obvious that CHF wants it to look like it was a difficult decision! 😁
  16. It seems pretty obvious that it was a difficult decision. We are blessed with some talented young men at that position. There’s a not so hidden message in there for Robby. I hope he’s listening. You never know how the season will play out.
  17. While I appreciate it @LPTiger, it’s too much pressure to keep all you guys in line!!! 😂
  18. I love him, too! I love that much confidence in a young man.
  19. Good for you!!! You will find a lot of changes! Some will make you sad, but some are really impressive. It is still an absolutely beautiful campus. The prettiest I’ve ever been on. 😊
  20. Definitely James Brown’s Family Restaurant!!! My husband STILL talks about their fried chicken. We were there in the late 70’s, early 80’s.
  21. Geez, I was going to brag on Coach Thornton about how much the o-line has improved, but then I see we are losing a player. 🤔
  22. I declare the nip will come when we move our little camper down to Auburn for the season. First time we’ve done this, so wish us luck next weekend. 😊
  23. What the heck? That’s weird. No “personal issues/family issues” mentioned?
