  1. Just to throw another angle into the conversation about PT. Has anyone thought about the fact that, with all the mess going on with Mel Tucker, he might have had a bit of a distraction? Maybe worried about his former teammates and friends? A little survivor’s guilt? 🤷‍♀️ Just me throwing the emotional angle in again.
  2. I absolutely LOVE this kid!!! And his daughter is full of BS. Why would any player ASK to be on the scout team. It’s not Eugene’s fault that’s Hasbeen didn’t see his talent and tenacity. So thankful he stuck it out and was given the opportunity.
  3. I was teaching my little class of kindergarteners in my rural west Georgia town. Our principal walked around asking all teachers to lock their doors and to keep the children inside the classroom. We were not allowed to turn on the tvs in front of the children (and I wouldn’t have wanted to) or come out of our classrooms to talk to other teachers until lunchtime. I remember feeling anxious, although I never thought we were personally in danger. I remember feeling the need to watch and absorb what was happening. I can’t remember, but I think we didn’t go to school the next day.
  4. Prayers for Kristi and for you and your boys. How old are your sons? Prayers for wisdom for her caregivers, comfort and peace for you all. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
  5. There’s a reason I don’t read this thread. Some of y’all are really over the top. Let’s see what the second half holds.
  6. I got my hour and a half nap in today, so I should be good to go!!! 😁
  7. Happy very long game day, everyone!!! CHF has been dampening expectations all week. I hope he’s wrong. Not worried about our offense, just the defense. Hope those guys play with a bit of resentment. 😁
  8. Are there only about 25 people at their pep rally?
  9. That Keionte Scott story is fantastic! Great young man!!!
  10. This is a really cool story. What an amazing piece of fate.
  11. This young man has been through so much. This had me in tears. I am proud of how well the Auburn Family supported him and his family. We participated in the Go Fund Me, and gladly did so. But what surprised me the most is the hand written note we received thanking us for the support. Wesley is a wonderful young man. I hope he knows his mother is fully healed of all addiction and has the best seat in the house to watch him play. I hope the team and staff continue to support him with all the help he needs.
  12. Thread title is a little dramatic, isn’t it??? 😂
  13. Very excited. I know i am going to learn a lot from this coach. He’s honest and real and I can really appreciate that. 😊
  14. He knows all about my message board friends and the fun I have with it. 😂 He goes to 247 to read from time to time, but rarely posts there. My kids, on the other hand, think I’m ridiculous for spending time on here. 🙄 Too bad that they are missing out on all the fun!
  15. How long has it been since we’ve had such a clean pocket for the QB??? My man Jake Thornton is building us a WALL!!! Hope they can maintain it with stronger competition and praying for player health!!!
  16. My man, Coach Thornton, had those O-line men ready!!! They look night and day better than last year’s line.
  17. I hated that the non student part of the stadium started leaving after the 3rd quarter. Why? This was a good game to watch. I don’t even leave when we are losing. Makes me mad.
  18. I’ve seen him live 3 times. Once in the Colosseum and twice at Chastain Park in Atlanta. We missed him in Key West in April by one day. If we’d only known😢
  19. Happy game day friends!!!! I’m super excited for this game. A little bummed about Buffett. Counting on the Tigers to lift my spirits!! WAAAAAARRR EAAAAGGGLLLEEE!!!
  20. My husband has that jacket from the actual 80s. He never throws anything away. 😂
  21. Nice work!!! Pass that along to her please. That amount of detail takes talent. 😊
