  1. Brody Moore. Groundout to SS. Sonny ends his Auburn career with an...infield single off the pitchers leg.
  2. Stovall for Arkansas gets his 5th hit of the night. Next AB, Good play by Brody Moore at SS to end the inning. 11-1 to B9. Auburn 11 runs away from a matchup against Ole Miss tomorrow!
  3. Swilling gets another K and a walk. 2 outs, bases loaded. Brooks Fuller coming in to get the last out of the 9th
  4. Carson Swilling comes in in relief in the 9th with runners on first and second. Gets a K.
  5. Thru 8 innings , 18-93, .194 in Omaha šŸ¤® 18-97 in Corvallis, for .186
  6. Arkansas' middle infield makes me a mix of awestruck and angry as hell.
  7. Hoping Bobby can keep his breakthrough season performance alive next year. Big surprise after his 2021 campaign.
  8. 9-1 Bacon Bits. 6 outs left to play with. Someone see if Auburn Jesus is asleep til September or has any exciting Hail Marys left to pull out
  9. For those still watching the pain on the field, Bobby Peirce with the HOSE to get a runner at third.
  10. Oh absolutely. But usually proponents of this nuanced stance don't throw around words like "embarrassment" or magnify the negatives more than they celebrate the positives. It's not like this run is coming to an end after a season of potential national title hype that fell short. I'm not an "aw shucks, we made it, that's as good as winning it all" person by any means, but anecdotally in my viewing of Auburn fan social media surrounding baseball this season, our own fans are quick to jump on this team's flaws (of which they have quite a bit), but were nowhere to be found watching the team grow as a cohesive unit from February. Watching this team lose to freaking Middle Tennessee and Ole Miss in March, you would have thought they would have had to buy their own ticket to Hoover and been playing summer ball for the last month. There are no such thing as moral victories to be sure, but ending a season in Omaha at any point in the tournament is never a moral victory. This is Auburn's best season performance in HISTORY, outside of 1967 where they finished 4th in the CWS.
  11. BOBBY BARRELS. Homerun in B7 gets Auburn on the board
  12. Wait, wait...how do you do something BETTER before you do it ONCE lol
  13. 3 Regional Titles in 4 years...2 Super Regional Titles in 3 years. People need to get the college football national championship mentality out of their mind with other sports. Applying the "Just Auburn Being Auburn" nonsense to this baseball program the last 5 years is short-sided at best, and dumb as hell at worst.
  14. Crack the scoreboard a time or two and get it to 2-3 runs before the final three frames and let it ride from there. Immediate goal before the 7th inning though...1 hit please lol
  15. Think the last four strikeouts have been on weak waves at breaking balls in the dirt..
  16. There's no such thing as embarrassing yourself at a CWS. They're playing badly, for sure though,
  17. Wow umpire squeezes him on a easy strike 3.
  18. His replacement, Ware, misplayed a ball in the 8th out there yesterday as well.
  19. Terrible first 14 innings in Omaha. Superb last 4. Major hat tip to Trace Bright today recovering from that Super Regional start! Good job by Gabe/Butch on the lineup switch of Foster and Moore. That proved pivotal! Clutch ABs in the final few innings made this super fun (and nauseating)! Saw where someone mentioned they had the right to criticize the play so far, no matter if it's Omaha or not. I would agree with that to an extent, as this team definitely didn't play to its potential the other night and needed some good ole-fashion correction discussions. Regardless of if there are 9 or 45 more innings left in Omaha though, this trip officially moved the program a little bit further to the ultimate goal...erased the 0-for-Omaha! Now, just go play a loose, nothing-to-lose conference game tomorrow night and keep the elusive run going until the baseball gods turn the lights out!
  20. I mean, the easy answer is we struggle to find them because...MSU/Arky/Ole Miss/LSU/Vandy/Tennessee exist. CBT is given a paperclip and a lint-roller and asked to build a Tesla. The deck is stacked against, whether it be lottery with some schools or just more of a willingness to spend on a baseball program (MSU, LSU, Arky, OM). The team's performance the last five years is the PERFECT opportunity for the Athletic Department to change that culture...here's hoping they do because regardless of tonight and Monday, seeing Auburn baseball regularly be one of the last 8-16 teams playing baseball is fun.
  21. Yea would be nice to end that drought this trip! Stanfordā€™s bats looked as bad as ours for 7 of their innings today so fingers crossed
  22. Yea bottom of the lineup needs to be changed next gameā€¦and maybe even the leadoff spot. This is game three of about five spots in the lineup in a row unable to contribute
  23. Bright side: we might not get this close enough to have a last second ā€œrip your heart outā€ MSU 2019 loss?
  24. Bring Butch to the Plains in 2017 and reap IMMEDIATE benefits. I hope Auburn power-brokers 100% buy into this program because the Plains should be a top 3 baseball atmosphere in this conference! It's time to accept the moving of the mantle from "scrappy overachievers" to "a damn formidable powerhouse!" WDE! So happy for Burkie...for Brody and Kason getting to close their careers at the place they started them..for the guys like Fuller, Wade and others who haven't had things go their way...for Josh Hall and the sacrifice of his season laying out at Alex Box stadium...phew, this is friggin amazing!!
  25. No no. I am quite fine remembering that bit of history EXACTLY as it went down lol!
