  1. yeah, but sometimes you can win the battle and lose the war, when you're arguing about something that really doesn't matter that much to the other person.
  2. Maybe so, but shouldn't we just let people feel good about something before we try to destroy their being positive?
  3. We could have 50 O linemen but if they aren't developed then it really doesn't matter.
  4. So jmr, based on your observations what does this infer ? It seems like a gross lack of execution and how do you solve that this far into the season?
  5. I hope his desire to get to get on the field, once he gets here, is on par with his desire to get to Auburn.
  6. How much of his success is due to having a very good QB and not so much coaching? just asking.....
  7. Would it be too soon to compare this guy to a young Julio? Good control of his body.
  8. I really don't have anything against Driscoll, its just that i would rather see a HS tackle come in and develop rather than a GT. Seems smarter to play the long game here rather than a quick fix, which i'm not sure we just have to have him.
  9. Would be curious to know how many 6' 5 OTs have been effective in the SEC? I understand arm length is a big factor with OTs and i would think taller OTs may have longer arms. Just wondering as well what kind of DEs he has played against at UMASS versus the ones he would see at AU?
  10. Maybe, the incoming AD can step up to the plate with a contract for CCL that keeps him here for a long time.
  11. Is this guy really a dual threat, he looks a lot like a pocket passer? anyone able to shed any light on this mystery?
  12. If we move away from a FB then we better recruit some RBs who can block and don't need 1-2 yrs to decide they need to put a face mask on someone. Foe too long we have went with a RB who is questionable in their ability to block so was reserved to certain roles and couldn't be on the field all the time.
  13. If Ross and this kid were to commit it would be hard to turn down either one of these kids with that kind of potential and athletic ability. Either is worth saving a spot.
  14. Good analysis, appreciate the effort and time you put into breaking down the team for people like me who are just a casual BB fan.
  15. More rewards for a great player. Excited about this young man being in orange and blue next year. Will he be an EE? If so, what other commits are we looking at being here during the spring?
  16. I'm sure worm is a fine young man and a talented H.S RB, however, he will need a lot more to compete at the level we play at on the plains. I'm not questioning his ability, just maybe what he can do (with his size) against the best defenses in the nation. But i'm sure he will do well, i know he is a favorite of the board. JMHO
  17. From what has been said, we are finished at RB, just taking two right?.
  18. We definitely need more high quality CBs, with 1 or 2 safeties in place already, we could use some CBs.
  19. That's just it, he doesn't coach like a D1 coach; more like a H.S coach.
