  1. Saying the team played great and being excited is a fun outlook. But I'm ready for a force and a team capable of winning it all.  This team can't play defense without fouling. Scoring will come and that's definitely the highlight of the team. But defense and rebounding separate you from the other team and destroy the opponent's mentality.

  2. At what point can a team stop using the excuse of needing to learn to gel together? The ball movement looked great, the fundamentals looked horrific. Poor rebounding, no discipline to force tough shots without fouling, no help defense. Looked about the same as last year. Holloway is a monster though. At least we have a pg.

I don't think Georgia's offense is nearly as good as it's been the last 2-3 years, particularly at QB.  But I don't think our offense will have its issues sorted out in time to take advantage of it.

The defense will play well and keep it close for a while, but UGA wins comfortably.

    Georgia 24
    Auburn 10

This is the type of game I expect.

Gotcha…I was just going off of what everyone else was saying…and it sounds like I wasn’t the only one who thought so. I don’t know much about AU basketball. At this point, Bruce has made Auburn basketball a respectable program, top 10-top 20 team. I don’t think we’ll ever be anything more than that. If we were, 2019 would have been it.

I want nothing more than for Auburn to win a championship in basketball. It is going to take a special set of consistent performing players to get us to that point. I'm thankful that I'm able to care so much about a competitive Auburn basketball team, but I think the time of an Auburn championship has come and gone.

There’s a moral aspect that Under Armour brings that some southern folks relate to, and I’m fine with that being a factor for some fans. But we’re not playing a moral game. I’m not going to point to our head coaches for our two major programs, because I don’t want to get yelled at today, but winning is the ultimate goal on the level Auburn performs at

I think Under Armour would serve Auburn better on a business and personal level. Auburn doesn't need Adidas or Nike.

Stripes are good, don’t think I love the numbers, the pattern on the whites are certainly interesting.

Im all for shaking things up, I like the liberty you (you being Under Armour) gets with the CBB product. I’d like even more to see Nike or Adidas’s!

I'd rather be one of the prime Under Armour schools then jump on with Nike or Adidas.

Deion’s class is currently not ranked in the top 60. Freeze is currently 15 or 16. As far as the portal goes, the only reason Prime’s class was ranked high is because so many kids left Colorado he had to sign like 50-some 3 star players out of the portal. Freeze lead all coaches in portal 4 stars, with 11 four-star players and they considered Thorne a three star.

In other words: it’s not even a close comparison.

Colorado has had 71 players enter the transfer portal since last August, causing a stir about what is happening in Boulder and how new coach Deion Sanders will manage the roster. It has been a staggering few months for the Buffs, who saw 47 players enter the transfer portal since the spring transfer window opened on April.

Auburn is also 4th overall in average rating. Colorado is 20th.

Don’t worry Mikey, this is mostly the same crowd that said TJ would start in front of Heisman Trophy contender Bo Nix. Same crowd that said Alan Greene would be a great A.D. and was a great hire. Same crowd that said Harsin was a great hire. Same crowd that wanted Deion (or some even Grimes 😂) instead of Freeze. Same crowd that said Robbie would be our starting quarterback this season.

I could go on but you get it, don’t let them get to you.

On a sidenote: in practice number three, someone we know’s brother and father said Robbie was taking snaps with the third string only, (of course, only practice number three, but it is, what it was) while Holden was with the second string and first string (not the third at all) Thorne with the first and second string.

I was always on the against Allen Greene side and it pissed a good amount of people off. The guy was never fit for Auburn .

Premature. Good job by Freeze & co so far and that's a signif number but careful, ole Gus had top 10ish recruiting classes while signing virtually no O linemen and certainly missing some real needs. That's also Neutered Dame's frequent bugaboo, sign who they want but misidentify their needs. We're still surprisingly thin at LB, Oline and IMO Dline.

Notre Dame's test composite scores and grades requirements are high. I don't think it's fair to compare them in a recruiting standpoint with Auburn. They are on par with Vandy and Ga Tech.
